ROOM #8 - PEACH AND DAISY'S ROOM loudflowerpower July 14 2008, 02:47:35 UTC

Daisy woke up with a groan. Her head was pounding, almost similarly to the time she ate too many jellybeans. But this was worse. Far, far worse.

Daisy Flora was experiencing her first hangover. But she didn't know that... yet.

Ignoring the throbbing in her head as best she could, she picked up her laptop from the floor beside her and turned it on. She checked her journal, for the purpose of seeing if anyone had written anything, because she couldn't remember much from last night. But then she saw she'd written an entry during the night. And Mr. Powalski had just responded to it.

Daisy's eyes widened. 'Holy shiitake mushrooms... I was DRUNK?! Oh, sweet Buddha...'

Her father would tear a new hole in the ozone layer if he found out about this!! Crap! Now what?! Oh, well... it wasn't like he knew how to use the internet, anyway. But now everyone in school was gonna know she'd gotten drunk, including the teachers. Well, she hadn't meant to! She was thirsty! And that sake had kinda tasted good after a while... kinda sweet...

"UGH! NO! NEVER AGAIN!" she yelled. She then clamped a hand over her mouth when she realized Peach was in the room, sleeping.

"... *sigh* ... I'd better take a shower and pray this headache goes away."

One shower later, Daisy was wrapped in a towel, sitting on her bed and brushing out her hair. When she was finished, she reached into her bag and pulled out her brand new bathing suit.

Seeing it made her smile. It wasn't exactly a suit the others would expect her to wear. Sure, the colors and pattern definitely said "Daisy;" it was orange with yellow polka-dots. But the design, on the other hand... well, it was a bikini, a strapless one, and quite form-fitting at that. The bra portion also had one of Daisy's signature flowers in plastic form, sitting in between the cups.

"Maybe Luigi won't care about how I look," said Daisy, "but I wonder how many other eyes I'll catch?"

She went into the bathroom again to change and dry her hair (the latter if only for appearances' sake). She didn't know why, but she felt much better this morning than she did last night, even with the hangover. Maybe she just needed some sleep. Daisy wasn't exactly used to staying up late.

"I'll face the day and whoever wants to get on my case head-on today!" Daisy said to herself. "Who cares if they think I'm a hoighty-toighty princess, or even not much of a princess at all? Screw them! I AM DAISY! PRINCESS DAISY OF SARASALAND! I WILL BE INVINCIBLE! And from now on, I am gonna kick ass!"
