One of the conditions of Jon being at Capcom High was that he was to attend counseling to help him manage certain aspects of his condition. Truth be told, he thought it was a complete waste of time and he'd been glad to find out upon showing up at Smash, that there was no such service available. He thought he'd gotten away with skipping out on this little bit of Prescribed Time Wasting.

However, early yesterday he'd been informed via e-mail that now that there was a Counsellor available, he was to start again and that, yes indeed, Wily had made sure to transfer that little condition of attendance along with everything else. Sessions were once a month and to last no less than an hour and then the Counselor would need to sign the form and blah blah blah.

Jon found it insulting and descriminatory. However, he didn't want to be removed from attendance, so, he made his way to Koji's office and gave three sharp knocks to the door, waiting to be told to come in.

"Come in," Kojiro called, putting the papers aside as he waited for the visitor to enter.

Jon opened the door and walked through at a pace that suggested he was of the mindset 'the quicker we start, the quicker I can get out of here'.

However. The decor of the place was certainly not what he'd been expecting. The Eastern influence was definitely nice - something he himself enjoyed. The fact that it was neither gaudy nor sparse in its decoration was also interesting. He was used to bare, yet somehow stuffy offices with overfilled chairs and couches or worse yet - beanbag chairs. He had a love-hate relationship with beanbag chairs. He hated the feel and sound of them. Loved to pop them.

"I'm Jon Talbain." he said by way of introduction. "I daresay you'll have my file about the place. Assuming they gave it to you or told you I'd be here at some point."

"Ah, Jon Talbain..." He pulled back the papers from the corner of the table and flipped through them. After a bit of searching, he found the files. "Here it is."

He skimmed over the file, taking what was written down with a grain of salt. That was simply Dr. Wily's opinion on things. Kojiro took a sip of his tea, then gestured to the spot across the tea table from him.

"It says antisocial and a worry of aggression. What is your opinion on the matter?"

"It's true." Jon replied, taking a seat and crossing his legs. "I don't much care to be around people, and I've something of a temper. I've not lost it to the point where I've hurt someone in a long while, but it's there. Especially when it's nearer the Full Moon or when Football is out of season."

He regarded Koji with his usual blinkless stare. The other man seemed very calm and self assured. He'd intentionally been difficult with some of the Counsellors at Capcom. Simply to buck the system, rather than it being anything personal. He almost felt like that kind of effort would be wasted, here.

"It no doubt talks about my Lycanthropy." he said, inclining his head toward the papers.

The football joke went over his head, sadly.

"I myself am a bit antisocial. There's nothing wrong with not always socializing. Perhaps if you find a friend or two you feel comfortable with? Even that would be enough to help you, I believe."

He took a moment to read the papers more thoroughly this time.

"Lycanthropy... is a new concept to me. You can't control when you change forms..?" He looked up at Jon, raising an eyebrow.

"....I've made one good friend since coming here. And there are a few fellow CapHigh transfers who I get along with well enough." Jon replied with a small shrug. "It's not like I hide in my dorm all day.... I'm just not interested in most people. More bother than they're worth."

He leaned back a little. "No. I've learned to change my form at will. All except during the full moon. At that time, the transformation comes whether I want it or not and brings with it a great deal more agression. I leave campus.... head into the mountains the day before. Tire myself out as much as possible."

Hmm. Kojiro rubbed his chin. This was an odd case. Not odd in the sense of being a special snowflake. More like... Nothing was wrong with Jon. People were allowed to be distant and it was obvious the man was responsible about his 'curse.'

He looked from Jon to the papers, then back again.

"... I honestly do not see any problems. Do you feel like there's anything wrong?"

"....Hrm."

That wasn't quite the answer he'd been expecting. Generally when he spoke about the specifics of his curse, it was greeted with suspicion at the very least, fear and-or derision would sometimes follow. There had been a few understanding souls, but even they would be hard pressed to say there was nothing 'wrong'.

"I thought it was your job to tell me what was wrong." he then replied. His gaze had barely shifted this whole time.

Kojiro tried to remain as open minded as possible during situations. While he wasn't full certain of all the aspects of a werewolf, he figured it was somewhat similar to a pokemon's human form.

"It's my job to listen and offer advice. I do not see anything wrong with these listed 'problems.' There is nothing wrong socializing with only a small amount of people. As for your Lycrathropy, you said so yourself that you can control it except during a Full Moon, but you isolate yourself so you do not endanger anyone."

Jon nodded. It made sense. This guy obviously wasn't quite the aggressive 'I WILL FIX YOU' type of counsellor he'd been thrust upon before. He appreciated that.

"There's not much advice you could offer me, Mate. I've dealt with it since I was a lad and I beleive I've found a winning formula. Stay well the fuck away from most everyone especially during those magical hours every month when I become unreasonably mean spirited to put it mildly.

"I'm here becasue I'm required to be. It was mandated at CapHigh and transferred here along with my 'I do solemnly declare not to hunt other students or members of faculty' statement. Conditions of enrollment. On one hand I can see their concern being that my condition is able to be passed along. On the other hand, it's a pain in the arse for all involved."

Why fix what isn't broken? This visit went a lot more smoothly than he thought it would. "Hm. I can see why they are a bit concerned about your isolation. You shouldn't let your condition get in the way of being social but if that is what you are comfortable with, I see no reason for any future sessions concerning these issues. I will send a report to Capcom High detailing this visit."

"Huh.... mighty decent of you." Jon replied, running a hand through his hair and giving a small shrug. "It would be appreciated."

He extended a hand. "Don't believe I caught your name?"

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry." He bowed his head then took a hold of Jon's hand. "I'm Kojiro."

Jon gave it a firm shake before letting it go.

"I take it you're not strictly Human yourself?" he then asked. It only made sense considering how accepting and understanding the guy seemed to be of the whole Lycanthropy thing. He would have said the Blue Hair was a giveaway too. But then, he'd met Max so...

"You are correct. I would hardly be able to function here if I were in my regular form. This human form is quite handy."
