It didn't appear to be an office. And the signs directing toward it actually defined it as a 'counsellor's office'. Except she didn't really know what a counsellor was. And she hadn't thought to even look it up because it was the first time she'd seen the directions for it. But she got the feeling it had been there even previously. Unfortunately for her, her nose had been stuck in a book far too often for it to do any sort of good.
She liked how everything was arranged, though. It seemed so very comfortable. To be fair, she had yet to see any other place in the academy like it. And she was very... intrigued by the whole setup. She scratched at her cheek idly with her left hand as she popped her head in to take a look around. And there was Kojiro, who...
She showed herself in and laced her hands together somewhat uncertainly. From an initial meeting, she wasn't sure she could actually gain any sort of informative reading from him. Not yet anyway. And she really didn't want to... pry. She tried not to nowadays.
"I'm very sorry for interrupting," Voile began. "I've never come by this way before. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, or what a counsellor is. What... exactly are you doing?"
She blinked curiously and took a few more cautious steps forward as she eyed Kojiro. She'd seen him before, hadn't she? She just couldn't remember ever addressing him. Why had she had such a difficult time doing that with people? Perhaps it had been that her incessant concern over Cyrus had prevented her from doing much beyond it. But one learned from his mistakes to make himself a better individual in the present and the future.
"I was unaware they gave such a professional title to someone like that," she replied softly. Then she nodded politely, "My name is Voile. I'm a student here."
She wasn't quite sure where to begin, honestly. She was all ready to comment on his lack of the educated background, and suddenly caught by surprise at Kojiro's question, she simply stared at him. Just... how open was Sonny about this anyway? Not that she'd been trying to hide it, but for someone to so blatantly come forth...
She turned the slightest shade of pink, which was already a stark contrast to her pallid tone. "...Are you a friend of Sonny's?" Voile managed to ask and avoid stumbling over too many words.
She darkened, which wasn't something she could get rid of. But when she heard his name, she was reasonably certain she'd heard of him before. There was a shy smile she gave and she promptly tried to hide under her green hair. Which really only worked on the eye that was already obscured.
"Hello, Kojiro," Voile greeted softly. "It's a privilege to meet you."
Curious about her? That... Well. She still didn't know how to feel about that.
She brushed herself off, though there was nothing at all to fix about herself. Then she took to nibbling upon her lower lip for a few moments. "Oh. Uhm. Well... I'm... really nothing special," Voile found herself murmuring. "He seems to think a little of me too highly, I think."
Voile paused and she smiled softly. "I'm very fortunate. I'm not quite sure what I'd do without him. I can only hope I'm as good to him as he is to me."
That was kind of him. She was beginning to expect that from him, however.
She took a moment to think before she answered his question. Her hands slipped behind her back and she remained in as proper a position as she thought to take with someone of his authority. "I first came two years ago. I went back home a couple of times for visits, but I came back earlier this year. It's been a while, but I think it feels longer than it's actually been."
Her eyebrows lifted as she eyed him, "If you don't mind my asking, what about you?"
"About a year ago, but like you, I too went back home for visits. I honestly didn't get to do much during the school year last year but... I'm fine with that. While I do wish to learn new things, being a student felt.. odd."

"Uhm. Hello?" she asked as she blinked.

"Hello," The Lapras looked up from his spot at his side "desk." "How may I help you?"

He stood up and made his way over to her, "A counselor is someone who listens to people's problems or worries and offers advice as they see fit."

He was surprised at her name though. "Ah, Voile..! You're dating Sonny, yes?"

He took a sip of his tea, taking a moment to ponder what he'd ask next.
"How long have you been at the school, if you don't mind me asking..?"
