What: A fabulous masquerade ball.
When: Monday, October 31st (that's Halloween). The deep, dark hours of the night (that's like eight PM onward).
Where: The Stadium.

Trick and Treating had been pretty hilarious this year. Now Lash walked in the stadium with her hair dyed and colored and wearing something, well she'd almost call it 'Adder Fabulous'

"B-b-b-but I tied up my hair and I colored it!" Surely it looked nothing like normal, even if there was a lot of it. She pouted a bit, disappointed that her guise was definitely not working as planned.

Gladys sure didn't know who this person was, but she sure liked how red her hair was. So she decided she was going to talk to this marvelous person.

"Hello!" She said with a smile. "I like your outfit! It looks really nice."

"Of course it is!" she replied back gleefully, "because I made it!" She looked at her trying to figure out who it was. "Hmm...I don't think I know you. I'm pretty good about guessing who is who at this party too!"

"Wow, you made the costume yourself? Do you think you can make me one some time too? I love dressing up!" Gladys replied, hoping for a positive response.

"Oh, I'm a new student! I don't think anyone except one person in this place would know who I am." Gladys then replied with a giggle. "Unless you saw me somewhere in the city before!"

But that would be something hard to guess, since she didn't have a human form before coming to this school...

"Oh so you worked somewhere before enrolling?" Lashed ask, as she drew her hands behind her back. "Yeah I'd understand that. The school is waaaay more interesting than a normal boring job, tee hee hee!" You know, even if Final Destination City did have some interesting things, there was just no beating the school.

This plant-girl sure didn't know a lot of things that worked in society.

Nabooru had spent the longest time just staring at Lash. She didn't recognise her at all and in spite of how it may have seemed, the Gerudo was actually fairly observant - even more so after her return from the desert. And deciding that she probably needed to live up to her chaperone title, she paused by the overly dressed up Lash and folded her arms over her chest.

"Do you even go to this school? Or are you one of those foreign exchange students from Capcom?"

Thankfully, Lash was terrible at keep up appearances once she knew she'd fooled someone. Too much bragging involved for her to keep it up, you see.

"Tee hee hee! No way! I'd never want to go to Capcom!"

So Nabooru simply stared at Lash as she tried to put things together. Why couldn't she be given powers of foresight or something? Or the ability to read peoples' minds? Tons of people in the academy could do that. And she had the power to do what, exactly? Hear the dead? Talk to the dead? Control the powers of the dead?

Well, 'dead' sounded terrible. 'Spirits' was probably a much better word.

"...Then who are you?" she asked as she leaned over to get a closer look.

She stroked her chin in lost thoughts.

Nabooru snorted - very quietly - and shook her head as she leaned in closer. "Well, aren't you looking pretty. You really went all out for trying to disguise yourself. I guess I'd better not spoil the fun and keep it to myself."
