"MAAAAAIL CAAAAALL!" A voice shrilly rang out.

With a loud thud, Parakarry slammed a huge parcel on Genny's desk. "Special delivery for Vice-Headmaster Crazy Hand."

Genny pulled a face at the sudden intrusion. Unfortunately the mailman was one of his least favorite people.

"Ah. I see. Something to sign, then?"

Parakarry wasn't particularly fond of General Guy either but if he had no other choice but interact with the Shy Guy every time he was to drop the headmasters' mail then Parakarry was going to make the best of it.

And by 'make the best of it,' he meant 'get on Genny's nerves.'

"You got it," Parakarry answered as he fished a clipboard out his mailbag and carelessly handed it to Genny. "Sign on the dotted line, please."

Genny snatched the form from the Parakoopa, scrawling his name hastily onto the dotted line, as ordered.

"So I can expect you to come visit the office every day, then?"

Parakarry just as hastily plucked the clipboard out of Genny's hand once he was finished and casually gave the sheet a look over.

"Most likely. The headmasters do get a lot of mail. Oh, speaking of mail, these are for Master Hand."

He pulled out two envelopes from his satchel and placed them neatly on the package.

The Shy Guy spoke through gritted teeth.

"Great. I'll make sure to deliver them right away."

Wonderful. The day had already been tainted by the realization he was going to have to see this guy every day.

Parakarry was normally not the type to take pleasure in irritating someone, especially someone supposedly higher than him on the faculty totem pole. But in the case of one of Bowser's loyalist minions, the paratroopa would make an exception.

"Another letter duly delivered," he beamed. "A postman's job is never done!"

He turned away, looking like he was ready to leave but he didn't take one step forward. Instead he extended his arm out toward Genny and cleared his throat. He began gestured at the Shy Guy as if expecting something.

No way. He stares at Parakarry's open hand as if it had sprouted a head or something similar.

"... Yes?"

"I think you're forgetting something," Parakarry replied, still sticking his hand out.

He's on his feet in an instant, completely scandalized by this madness

"Surely you're not asking for some sort of bribe?!" He cried.

"You mean a tip," Parakarry corrected. "Why in world would I ask for a bribe?"

Blank stare.

"... What on earth is a tip?"

Parakarry stared back clearly unamused. He assumed Genny was just playing dumb in order to avoid paying him anything. The mail carrier's gaze slowly turned into a dumbfounded one when he realized that Genny was being serious.

"You really d- Well, let's see. A tip," he explained "is a sum of money you give someone as a reward for their services."

Parakarry was tongue-tied.

"Well...um..."

Parakarry could have easily lied and say yes, that tips were mandatory just to screw around with Genny. Heck, he could easily have lied and tell Genny to pay some outrageous amount too. Why should Parakarry be nice to someone who obviously despised him?

Parakarry looked at General Guy straight in the eye.

"...No, tips are not mandatory."

Parakarry was too nice for his own good.
