It was starting to get dark, but Cyrus was standing still at the edge of the walkway, only moving to turn the page in the thick book in his hands. He didn't seem to pay attention to much of anything around him.

What was it with all the bookworms in this place looking like zombies? And this guy wasn't nearly as cute as the little albino girl. Might make for a good atmospheric Halloween piece or something, though. So Frank took a shot from off to the side.

That caught Cyrus's attention, and he muttered something as he reached in his jacket.

Suddenly, giant crow coming at you! Frank you had better know what to do in case of demon mafia crows.

Note to self: People with weird giant pets were incredibly violent. Frank did what he did best: grab the nearest object and hope it was an effective weapon. In this case he was stuck waving a broken branch still covered in dead leaves at the crow.

"Damn it!"

And then the crow's wings took on a silvery sheen just before they cut straight through the branch. An observer skilled in pokemon would recognize it as a Steel Wing attack, but to an outsider it would look just plain bizarre.

Cyrus didn't look up.

As far as Frank was concerned it was some pimp bird trying to cut a bitch. But Frank West did not like being a bitch.

He tossed the broken branch aside and scrambled away, shooting dirty looks toward the bird's owner. "Hey! Call off your pet, will you?!"

Honchkrow pulled back a bit, but remained hovering nearby.

"To capture an image is to keep it for all time, or as long as the image stock lasts. It carries with it the power to convey things far past their occurance. Do not do so lightly," the man advised, without turning away from his reading material.
