Silver had thought he was in a private area, perfect for being dere giving his pokemon some sort of tlc in form of a quick brush and pat. Still no potions or such, yet.

Right up until the flash went off, starting the Golbat, Feraligatr and Umbreon into hissing squarking or snapping their jaws.

"Oi!" Cue one cranky red-head.

Who might be heading over to punch him in the face.

Aww, a boy and his dog. And his bat. And his giant alligator. Not exactly a Hallmark scene, but it was still heartwarming.

Until the flash went off and everyone suddenly turned vicious. Frank held his hands up protectively, arms in front of where his camera hung over his chest, since he found that a much more valuable thing than his own beautiful face.

"Hey, hey!" He backed up quickly, hoping to keep Silver at a safe distance. "What's your problem, kid?"
