Whenever she can, Mei Ling undertakes a variety of qigong exercises in a leafy corner of the courtyard. Nobody bothers her here, she's just keeping to herself. The movements are fluid and controlled - aimed at improving one's "chi" or "qi" according to the practitioners. Since didn't really require a lot of space, Mei Ling was used to doing this on her ship to keep fit.

It's pretty much Mei Ling doing the whole "mystic asian dude kung fu fighting" poses except she's in her Captain's uniform. Which gives good views of her butt.

Some kind of tai chi or yoga or something, huh? At a fighting school, Frank was surprised he didn't see more of this kind of thing going on. Or maybe he just wasn't looking in the right places. He could definitely appreciate the view he was looking at now, though.

She stopped mid-pose. Mei Ling's arms were in the air and she slowly put them down. First thought is: There's a spy. Second thought is: Why are they spying on me?

"Camera?" Mei Ling started looking around. "Who's there?"

Spotted! Well, as long as Frank got a good candid shot first he didn't really mind people becoming aware of the camera. But once they did, that totally ruined the shots. You couldn't capture natural emotion and energy from a held pose and cheesy grin.

He stepped out from behind the tree not in his boxers and Servbot mask alas, holding the camera up in one hand as greeting.

"Hey there. Hope I'm not interrupting anything."

In what sort of position did this guy catch her in? Hopefully not a bad one. It wasn't the fact that he was taking pictures or that Mei Ling minded being photographed, it was just the whole surreptitious nature of him doing it. He was creeping around taking photos like a certain someone she knew...

"What are you taking pictures of?"

"Ok... ay?" A photographer, eh? Still didn't answer the question of why her, but whatever. Mei Ling is just going to look at you strangely - no I haven't heard of you before, am I supposed to know you?

"I'm Mei Ling. Nice to meet you. You can carry on photographing... whatever it is you photograph. I look forward to seeing them sometime."

She didn't sound impressed. Or even interested. Ow... Why did the only people here who knew him only know him from Capcom?! He'd even covered the APAROID war for crying out loud!

Well, whatever. Frank would not be so easily deterred.

"Mei Ling, huh? That's pretty exotic. Well, Mei Ling, I'm not usually supposed to show off my stuff to just anyone before it's published... But I could probably make an exception for you. If you're interested."

Look Frank, unless you're one of the reporters Philanthropy keeps in contact with Mei Ling probably knows barely anything about you. Deal with it. The reason why she moved to Smash is because she's reintegrating with the outside world.

"Sure, if you wanted to?" She shrugged and walked towards Frank. And she's going to ignore your comments about her name as well. "If you won't get into trouble, that is."

He can't deal with it. His ego is too bloated.

"Nah, it's not like anyone's going to find out. So long as you're not really some rival reporter trying to steal my work." He shot her a smirk. "So what was that you were doing, yoga?"
