Why.
This is terrible.
Flint is resisting every urge to run away right now.

This whole blind date thing happened too often for Blacky to bother getting all flustered over it, and from what little she remembered about them, nothing really came of them. At least she would get some free food, though whether or not any of it would actually taste like anything to her remained to be seen.
Although when she saw just who her date would be for the night, maybe it would be a little better AND worse than expected.
"Fancy seeing you here." She seated herself, taking a quick glance at the menu. Ha ha wow good thing it was free after all.

"Uh, hi." Flint was a man of many words. In his head, though, he was thinking Wasn't this supposed to be random why does this keep happening to me well at least it's not another guy "Nice night, isn't it?"

A half second after that left his mouth, he realized that maybe wasn't a great question to ask a ghost.

"I remember you..." How once upon a time she would have been overjoyed at this little twist of fate. Now it was just darkly humourous. "I remember we used to spend a lot more time together, once. Rather, I bothered you more."

He was handling this about as well as any cowboy in a fancy restaurant would. I.E. not at all.

Most of all, she was sorry she was the one who came back when she knew Flint had other people he would have probably much rathered see return.
She gave a quick gesture to her untouched menu. "Go ahead and order whenever you want, by the way. This isn't my preferred fare these days."

Even though it was true, the thought had crossed his mind that if Blacky could come back, why not certain other people? He tried to push that thought out of his head and stared at the menu. He briefly considered asking her what ghosts ate, but figured he had made enough of an ass of himself already. "We could go somewhere else if you want."

"If you're not hungry either, we could go somewhere else entirely. For a walk, or to the movies, or..." Blacky trailed off. She was really grasping at straws, wasn't she? "Just spend some time together, I suppose."

"Right, then. Shall we?"
((FAST FORWARD TO THE PARK Y/N?))

It was a nice thing that as the days got shorter and colder, the park was nearly deserted by this time of night. Even better that Blacky herself couldn't feel the cold anymore, or she would have probably started complaining the moment they stepped outside.
She kicked at a dead leaf in her path, sighing quietly. "Winter is coming." For some reason the phrase made her feel SUPER SERIOUS and also slightly MEDIEVAL. "Thinking of any holiday plans yet?"
