The sudden exclamation started the hatted boy to no end, causing him to almost jump right out of his bizarre attire. He stumbled forward a few steps, tottering dangerously close to tripping over, but he managed to keep his balance this time.

He turned around, glancing over in the direction the voice had come from, noticing the other boy a little further down the hall.

"A-Are you t-t-talking to me?" He replied, pointing at himself in slight confusion.

"I-It's okay... I guess I should be kinda used to it by now." Vivi grabbed the edges of his hat, shifting it from side to side to adjust it so he could see this kid Rock. He didn't look at scary. Actually, it was a pleasant surprise to find someone who was about the same age as he was!

"N-Nice to meet you Rock, my name's Vivi, f-from Square-Enix."

Ahhh, you've stumbled onto a bit of a no-no there Rock, though it's really not your fault. He hated being reminded of what he was - or rather, what he wasn't.

"Mmm..." Vivi mumbled, more to himself than anything else, a clear change of mood in his tone. From an awkwardly friendly stance, his body language changed dramatically - his hat was pulled over his face again, hiding his eyes, elbows and arms being pulled in closer to his sides. It was almost as if he was trying to hide without moving or running away.

"I-I'm a... p-p-p-person..." he stuttered dejectedly.
