She was so fond of the Gracedia flower. It was really pretty and of course reminded her of home. While taking a small bite of the berry, she was looking over at the bushel. She was still unaware of Cyrus' presence, and maybe it was for the best at the moment.

But he stopped, and stared at her.

You know that awkward feeling you get when you can feel someone staring?

That was Dana right now.

She decided to turn around and see who was doing such a thing, and personally... regretted it. Her tail thumped impatiently against the ground, trying to be civil. "Greetings."

"I had not figured that you would enjoy such things," he said quietly.

"Hmm. I should say the same to you as well," she huffed in response, taking another bite.

Cyrus glanced from side to side, a gesture to indicate his surroundings. "I have respect for the natural world. It is imperfect, yet it is...pure, in a way. You must surely remember the world as it was then."

Cyrus you contradicting jerk. "Yes, I can easily recall the Earth in its more primitive and simple times." Sighing, she continued to twitch her tail impatiently. She just felt so awkward around him. "However, you may color me surprised knowing that you have respect for at least some part of this world."

"If I did not respect the world, I would not devote myself to its salvation," he told her. "What do you think I work for?"

"What you are doing is absolutely idiotic." Dana admitted, crinkling her nose. "If you actually harbored respect for the world you would be able to watch it change and grow as I have since the beginning and not attempt to change anything. This planet was destined to not be at a state of perfection for a reason. Attempting to change it by forcing help from higher powers is the most foolish thing you could do."

She liked the planet as it was, and also she's still entirely bitter.

He shook his head, not looking at anything this time. "I seek to change it because I have watched it. Although my life has been short compared to yours, compared to the whole of history, that strife is unavoidable. All our scope we as sentient beings have suffered and forced others to suffer. You live apart from the world that you claim to value, turning away from it, and insist that others who are saturated with that history are wrong when they seek to change it. How utterly foolish!"

"Do NOT say that. You have not been able to witness it in even the slightest way that I have. Human AND Pokemon can be violent creatures, we of Legendary status were not meant to we are not meant to intrude much on human lives for the reason that you are supposed to learn things such as peace and war on your own and if we were to intrude it would be catastrophic. Also noted that if we were to interfere, we would be depended on for much more than we are intended. I admit that I have roamed the Earth in secret, but only to witness its evolution overtime." She hissed in response, thinning her eyes. Dana was starting to get really angry. Really... really angry. "The only reason that I am residing in this time period if because I chose to attend, if I had never learned of the Academy and what it held, I would still be going through the time stream and observing."

Yeah she wasn't going to stop for anything at the moment.

That was more than he needed to hear. "Then you have no grounds to oppose me. If we are to learn war on our own, then it is up to us to learn salvation. That is my role."

"That is not what I meant, and you know that was not what I meant by saying that. There is a line that humans were never destined to cross, and what you have been attempting is WELL across that established line. If it personally affects myself and the time stream, then it in fact does involve me!" Her tail hit the ground hard, causing her plants on the table to shift back an inch. She leaned down right near his face, absolutely snarling at this point. "Your last attempt had better of been your only attempt, if it was not, then you had better never cross paths with me again. I will make sure of it that you get this idea out of your head one way or another!"

He stood his ground. "Such knowledge is for everyone. You cannot insist that it is only to be used for limited purposes." His voice was calm as anything, eyes dull and unsurprised. "There is a word for those who possess power and yet permit those around them to anguish..."

And then he turned around and started to walk off. "There is no reason for me to encounter you again," he told her as he left.

Pinning her ears back, she retracted back and looked away. It was... always such a sore subject, and she did feel a bit embarrassed that she got that hot under the collar with him that quickly. "It is why we gods are separated from you mortals. We are burdened to know these things, yet we are unable to do anything regarding the situation..." she muttered, crossing her arms.

She watched him walk off and hissed quietly. "We shall see about that, Cyrus."

Unable...no, simply unwilling... he thought, fighting back the urge to smirk.
