The moment he had turned to go, Agitha was quick to go clean and reorganize what she'd brought. Most of her room with Daisy consisted of a combination of Daisy's things and many little carriers for her bugs, which had only been used for transportation. Most of the time, she simply let them go free. And they seemed perfectly content with Agitha that they hadn't bothered to leave their new home.

There were beetles and mayflies along the bookshelves. Two praying mantises in Agitha's hair, one on each side, atop the ponytail holders. Jacque was on her hairpiece, and his mate elsewhere. Probably the pillow of her bed. And they all had a glorious glow about them. Fireflies lit up the closet with a few of their other friends. Twenty-four bugs at the very least, and soon there would be more.

The knock came as very little surprise and she happily opened it, watching Jacque fly up and flutter about N's face curiously. "He's just getting to know you. Would you like to come in?" she asked as she used her right hand to hold her skirts as she

It kind of amused N how the first greeting truly came from Jacque, but not at all did it bother him. In fact, he only reacted by reaching a hand up, as if beckoning the butterfly to land or simply explore as he wanted to. It's a good thing N is very gentle with Mother Nature's fruits of labor.

"Of course. Which one is this one? He seems friendly," he stated before moving forward slowly. He didn't want to frighten the little bug, after all.

Once N was out of his way, Archeops began to approach, as well, and pecked lightly at Agitha's skirt with a little squawk. As... odd as that kind of greeting was, it was a simple, innocent greeting nonetheless.

"That's Jacque. He's the boy. I'm not sure where his girlfriend is, though..." She scratched at her chin up until Archeops began to peck at her skirt.

Then she lowered her hands, even leaned over, and gave Archeops a very gentle pat on the top of his head. "Oh, hello Fuzzy Bird! My name is Agitha! It's very nice to meet you. You're just oh-so-adorable!"

Well, that made N feel very at peace. Usually Archeops' methods of introducing itself were kind of... primitive and caused unpleasant reactions. Agitha's, however, was more than welcoming and accepting, causing Archeops to croon cheerily.

He stepped beyond them and glanced inside the dorm room as he spoke. "Archeops definitely likes you. Not too many people can quite understand that he is a bit rough, but only means the best out of what he does. You are a special case."

He was already beginning to notice a few bugs. She had quite a few, didn't she? Not that he minded or anything.

When N showed himself the rest of the way in, Agitha closed the door behind him. Then she sent her hands through the air after approaching her bed.

Swish! Swoosh!

Every which way they went until Agitha looked as though she might have been flailing about. Her effort was not in vain. The bugs that had scurried across her bed, potato bugs, beetles, grasshoppers, phasmids, et cetera, made haste and way for N and the younger elf girl.

"There we are!" she announced rather proudly. "Now we all have a place to sit, Archeops too! It wouldn't be very nice of me not to let all of my new friends sit with me, no matter how rough they might be." Except she didn't seem to think Archeops was rough at all. At least, not by the way she was trying to pick him up and hug him to her chest.

Okay. Maybe she was a little too loving.

"Of course. Thank you," N responded graciously. He took his seat on the edge of the bed, not needing much more than that to already feel at home. While he wasn't used to adapting quickly to new environments, he could anyway. New places intrigued him more than it bothered him.

Besides, he already knew he wouldn't feel that same feeling he felt in his castle. He still doesn't feel it, even in his own dorm room full of toys and Pokemon.

That wasn't something to dwell on right now, though. Archeops was beginning to struggle a little. He didn't do anything too harmful, but he was wriggling around in Agitha's arms.

N held a hand in protest and chuckled uneasily. "You... may want to be a little gentler with him." No matter how rough Archeops could be, it wasn't used to being hugged so tightly and suddenly.

She blinked with surprise and in her natural kindness, she released Archeops and patted him on the head again. Then she shifted to a small end table where she had a small plate of what looked like lemon bars.

Yes. She did stuff like baking. It sort of came natural when one looked like a cupcake so often.

Then she offered it over to N and looked to his fuzzy bird. "I'm not sure you can have any. I think you eat something different, but I don't know how to make anything like that. I'm so sorry."

N never saw anything like that before. Some foods were still unknown to them, at least those that aren't considered very commonplace. Lemon bars weren't widespread enough. Regardless, they did look good, but whether or not Archeops could eat them was still questionable.

He didn't take a bite yet, but he likely would after he asked about them. He wanted to inquire, just to be on the safe side.

"What... are these? I've never seen anything quite like them."

"Lemon bars! They're made with real lemons, butter, flour, and eggs. They're baked. And then they're sprinkled with powdered sugar."

Agitha wasn't sure where she got the baking from. Not having a mother to bake for her, it seemed like one of the few things she could use to keep in contact with the maternal unit.

To reassure N, she took a small nibble and wiggled her ears happily. "I think they're okay for you to eat, but I'm not sure about Archeops. I'd hate to give him something he wouldn't like, or something that might make him sick."

Archeops sniffed at the lemon bars curiously and gave N this look. It was this pleading little look that told him that yes, he wanted these. It had sugar, so it must be good.

"He could definitely eat that. If it was artificial, I would have declined, but as long as it is all natural..." He gave a nod to his Pokemon to signal the okay. "Go on ahead. You'll be fine."

The Pokemon looked up at the two, gave a little garbled cry of glee, and ate a full lemon bar in one bite. So, so good. Sweet stuff is Archeops's favorite, even if this had a twinge of sour behind it. As long as it wasn't spicy, it was all good.

N also took advantage and shoved a small bite into his mouth. It was an interesting flavor. So sweet, yet the sourness was more than certainly there and noticeable. It couldn't really be ignored.

"Mm... they are delicious. Are other 'bars' like this possible with other fruits? Berries, even?" He and his Pokemon love berries the most.

Agitha could not hide how gleeful she looked as they both nibbled on her lemon bars. Wow. The player, in hindsight, realises how terribly bad that can sound. Then she nodded to N. "As far as I know, they make raspberry bars, and I assume any other citrus fruit like oranges and limes could also be made into their own bars."

She tilted her head to the right as she eyed him in thought. He must have been older than her. She couldn't tell by how much, but maybe not as old as the Boy in Green. Or maybe he was. Agitha really wasn't a good judge of age anyway. Sometimes the really young people could act really mature, too. Like her.

"I think so. I'll have to look at the recipe and see. I think we have berries growing in the greenhouse. Do you know?"

Those all sounded fantastic. It seemed like all kinds of fruits could probably be made into bars. N began to wonder, what if Pokemon-specific bars could be made? No, not made from Pokemon. That would be horrifying. He meant more along the lines of bars made from berries Pokemon usually prefer.

He might as well pose the idea. Agitha was the baker here, not him.

"We have plenty, yes. I pick some for my Pokemon many times. I think Pecha berries might be delicious in bars, but you may have to be the judge of that."

He isn't very good at cooking at all. He never got much chance to learn.

Pecha berries...

Agitha didn't even know what those were. She tapped at her chin curiously. "Tell you what. If you can bring them to me, I'll work on making them for you!"

It was like a sidequest.

"I'll give you a purple rupee for each dozen of berries you bring me." Not that rupees would be good for anything. Well, maybe they would if they required conversion.

She still had no idea how that worked.

"Of course. I..."

Oh. That proved to be a sliiiiight problem. N had no idea what a rupee was. It sounded very foreign, that much is certain, but what exactly were they?

Welp, there was only one way to find out.

"... May I ask what a rupee is supposed to be?"

She blinked, clueless for a few moments, and then a bright smile broke into her features. "Uhm. Rupees are currency. We use them in Hyrule. I have a lot of them, so I don't mind giving them to you. I'm sure someone here can convert them for you if you need them to."

She just didn't know how good (or bad) the conversion rate was going to be.

"Oh!" That made much more sense. Of course, different places would have different currency, just as he read in history books at home. N nodded with affirmation. "I see. I understand. I don't see why I should be paid, though. I don't require that."

He doesn't buy much anyhow. Good thing tuition is free.
