Who: Riwane, Anyone What: Arrival to the Academy Where: Outside, anywhere in the Academy When: August 12, noonish Warnings: None that I can think of? Depends on who shows up.
Flare didn't find much of anything out of the ordinary today- at least from what she could judge as Smash's 'out of the ordinary', which was a definition that had to be learned from experience.
Thanks to that island trip and a bunch of curses and stuff, she was beginning to learn quickly. Geez, good thing she isn't new to this place anymore and she's kind of learning and oh that chick has a flame on her tail.
... Wait a minute. That chick has a flame on her tail. Time to make a BEELINE for this girl and grab her tail just under the flame.
"Hey, you! What's with your tail?"
Was this Sasha? No, Sasha had wings. Who is this person then?
That was an odd greeting if she ever heard one, but then again, she was very curious herself as she turned and searched for the source of the voice. Her eyes locking on Flares and smiling.
"It's jus' my tail," as if the answer was obvious. "Why do ya ask?"
"No, I mean," Flare spoke, her expression still more astonished than anything, "Why's it on fire? You have some kind of fire abilities?!"
She hoped Riwane didn't mind her just sticking her hand into the fire and relishing in its warmth. Fire fairies can kind of do that. If Riwane did mind? Well, Flare didn't care much because she is just so damn fascinated.
She loves this school for having fire-attuned people.
Riwane looked back curiously, tilting her head as the girl stuck her hand in her flame.
"Oh, well, yeah. I'm a Charmander of course. And my tail's alit cause... well... It's always been like that really. But it goes dim when I get sick, or when I feel sad... My..." she paused for a moment remembering her trainer, but pushed any sadness away, she had to be strong, specially now that she got accepted!
"My trainer also explained that I can't, by any means let it go out. Or I'll be as dead as a doornail." she said as casually as if she was speaking of the weather.
Yeah, because mentioning death by fire extinguishing is awesome and all. Okay, no, that's not even the intention at all behind her amazement, but still.
"Well, if death's what you have to worry about... Charmander, right? It'll never happen while I'm around."
Flare materialized a flame ball in her hand and waved it about. "Because while I'm here, that tail of yours will NEVER go out!"
"A fairy? Like the ones in the books an' such?" she looks at Flare wide eyed and curious, taking in every part of her. She didn't look like one of the fairies in the books.
"Pssh, no," Flare asserted, arms folded over her chest. Geez, she hates the old stereotypical fairy schtick. "I'm nothing like the fairies in the books! They're too dainty and sparkly. I'm more rough and tumble than that, and I don't need wings like the storybooks."
Though flight has always enticed her, she is just fine having the abilities she has right now.
Well, that was a surprisingly awesome answer. Riwane is slowly beginning to crawl into Flare's little book of respect and friendship already. "I mean... of course! That's always how it's got to be. I'm no weakling or... chilled out dumbass anyway." And she's damn proud of it.
She glanced up to the school building and ran a hand through her long hair. "Nope! I've been here... probably only a few months or something. Caaaan't even remember, haha!"
She looked back down at her. "So I'm guessing you're just a newbie, too, huh?"
A proud smile appearing on her lips. She was actually really happy to be able to talk to new people, specially someone as neat as Flare. Coming from a pretty secluded life, the prospect of new and awesome people to meet was a driving force in her desire to progress.
"Not baaaaad. So I guess some girl like you hasn't seen the best parts of the school yet! Like, say, the Stadium?"
Flare's grin grew wide, her fangs peeking out from her lips. Ooh yes, so many fun things in the Stadium. Beating people up, sports, parties, and beating... Sandbags up. Oh yes.

"I appreciate it much an' all. Name's Riwane~" she said happily as she looked at the conjured fireball.
"Are you a Pokemon too?" a curious brow raised as she got closer.

"I'm a fairy! Just because I control fire doesn't mean I'm one of you. Point is, though, I'm not just some nubby-eared coldblood!"
SO PROUD.

She wondered if the stadium was like the stadium she saw on tv while watching one of the League tournaments with her trainer.

"... You. Me. The Stadium. RIGHT NOW."
Hopefully Riwane doesn't horribly mind being dragged to the Stadium at top speed. Well, top speed for any human (or in this case, humanoid).
"It's gigantic! C'mon, you have to be a battler, too, right?"

"W-well alright then! An' yeah, I'm a Pokemon after all~" I mean what else is there she wondered!
