Who: Goose, anyone!
What: Goose endures a bit of a nasty curse, and he can see that it's pretty bad, or rather... he can't see.
Where: Around the island, but mostly veeeeery close to any civilization beyond the springs.
When: July 26th-29th.
Warnings: Swearing at the least.
(
blind as a keese, if you ask me. )
Parakarry carelessly waved to Goose as he passed by.

"... Hey, guy?" Goose spoke with his characteristic salute in... the wrong... direction. Oh.

Okay, either Goose was playing a joke or there was something wrong.
"I'm over here." Parakarry flew toward Goose's side and waved his hands.

Goose managed to face him! It was a little off, but at least it wasn't a stare towards a tree (or as much of a stare as an eye-lacking guy can manage a.k.a not... a stare at all). Thanks, sound detection.
"Is this right? Here?"

Parakarry's expression was full of concern. "Did you hurt your eyes? You seem to be having problems seeing."

Might as well just get it out of the way. After the midget guy being all weird with his explanations, Goose wanted to just be obvious about it.
He took off the shades. "What's it look like?"
Reply
"Y-your...y-y-your..."
He remained tongue tied, his gaze never leaving where Goose's eyes were suppose to be. How are you suppose to react to someone revealing that their eyeballs were gone? Why were they even missing in the first place?!
"Y-y-wha-Where are your eyes?!" he shrieked much louder than he intended. Well there goes remaining calm.

Goose's face trailed over to where the water was. That... is where the water is, right? Yeah, totally. Except no, he was just looking at a squirrel eating a nut instead.
"Maybe they fell out in the water or some shit. Ain't got no idea. Just took a dip and came out... y'know, like this."

"I'm sure this is only temporary."

Goose paused and decided to pose a question to he who knew the feeling of flight.
"Hey, kid. What would you do if you could never fly again?"
Reply
His entire livelihood depended on his ability to fly. Unable to run, swim, teleport, flight was only way for him to cover all the area he had to travel when delivering mail. Not only that. He enjoyed being able to fly. Seeing the world from high above, basking under the warm sunlight, feeling the wind lift him higher.
"I would be devastated."

Goose reached a hand out to pat his friend on the back, only to find himself patting air. Okay, he... he gave up on that.
"If I never get to fly again, I'll lose both jobs, too, y'know. Piloting and guarding relies on sight, and without that..."
He pursed his lips. "I might have to leave the Academy."
Not the city, at least, but the Academy. That. Would. Suck.
Reply
"You don't know for sure that this is permanent. It's very well possible that this is temporary like all the incidents that have occurred in the past at the academy."

If only he knew. If only this curse didn't put a damper on his optimistic personality. Siiiiigh.
Reply
"Hmm...so is there anywhere that you want to go? I'll escort you if you'd like." he offered.
Reply
He looked Parakarry straight in the eye- or uh... tried to- and told him, "Some kinda doctor."
