Now it was time for the final confrontation! There had to be some way to get rid of this stupid contract that Bowser binded them to. What better way than fighting him? Of course, it probably wasn't going to be easy...

THE SPIKED GATES OF A THRONE ROOM STAND BEFORE YOU. DARE YOU OPEN THEM? THEY ARE SPIKY AND WROTHFUL.

You can just read an inscription above the gates that reads:

"You know it, baby." Knuckles said to Goombella, giving her a grin. This was going to be pretty cool - he and she had never teamed up in an actual fight before now.

"Hey, Mac. What's say we 'knock politely' on the count of three?" he asked his buddy, jabbing a thumb in the direction of the doors.

Well obviously she didn't have any hands to make into fists so she would have to settle with 'knocking politely' in the form of ramming her head into the door, but that was okay! She was starting to get pumped!

Ahh - the feel of door smashing into slivers against his fist. Was there a sweeter feeling in the world? Well, not one that could be achieved with ones clothes on, obviously.
