Warnings: You're going to have SBGers barely clothed in hot water.
While the original plan had been for an open hot springs trip to take place on Mallow's birthday, the springs had mysteriously run dry that day because Shocky forgot to get the log up on time so the date had to be pushed back about a week while renovations were done. Mallow let everyone know of the change of plans, of course.
Anyone who chose to come along were whisked away to a land of clouds and beanstalks in the Royal Bus, also made of clouds and piloted by a large mustachioed Lakitu. If anyone got air sickness it was too bad for them, because there weren't any paper bags on board. If anyone fell off, it was CERTAIN DEATH.
The springs themselves had been revamped to make more room for what was sure to be a huge party, with vines and statues all around the sides. The water was hot and relaxing, which was a wonder considering any water coming from a cloud should have been cold. How mysterious. Could it have anything to do with the massive active volcano right beneath the springs? Just maybe.
