Misty can be found on the listed dates near a beautiful, shimmering lake dotted with floating blossom petals. She sat by the water with some treats sweetened with natural fruit juices and other healthier alternatives. Delicious.
Cherry blossom festival was a very pretty time of year, after all. She might as well savor it while she had the chance.
"It's so pretty, isn't it, Qu-"
"QUAAAAAAAAAAAAG."
"... sire?"
Misty stared at her Pokemon awkwardly as it sat beside her. Maybe she brought the wrong Pokemon with her...
LET'S DO THIS THINGhaswetpokemonMarch 28 2011, 01:25:02 UTC
AHHHH WHO WAS- oh it was Red. Sup Red. Misty didn't even know you were there, geez. A hand dramatically clasped over his chest, she let out a large sigh.
"Red...! You startled me! Where did you come fro-"
"I didn't know there was a festibbbbbllll--" Okay yes Quagsire was way too close. But it wasn't like it was causing any trouble so Red just let it do whatever the heck it wanted to. "I only heard about it a couple of days ago," he tried to say, but it sounded a lot like gibberish.
Misty... somehow managed to understand the basic gist of it. Somehow. "Oh, yeah, I don't know if there's even... advertisements for it, and... Quagsire, will you stop that?!"
Quagsire was just going to try to climb on Red's head and get sticky, soggy Quaggy dew on his head.
As long as it wasn't hurting anything. Um. Quagsire are you licking Red's hair. I think you are.
"Well, not... much! I met up with Professor Oak and we've been talking about some important things," she mentioned. Misty then paused. Shouldn't she like... talk to Red about that? That would help.
She frowned. "We were talking about Giovanni being here."
It better taste delicious, he only uses the finest kids' shampoo.
Oh. Giovanni. After all that stuff that happened during the week everyone went nuts, Red kind of sort of might have had a tiny shred of respect for him. He's still a giant jerkwad, but... Well, he could have been much worse.
"Oh, crap," he stared at her, alarmed. "Professor Oak didn't know he was already here, did he...?"
Sadly, the same couldn't be said for Misty. She still hated his guts, yet she hadn't encountered him during the event. If she did, she didn't remember it, frankly.
Misty crossed her arms and stared right at him. Her expression showed her disappointment at Giovanni and her sympathy for Oak all in one. "He didn't. He got really upset when he heard, too! He wants to help get him out of the school, and... I can't blame him one BIT."
"I don't blame him, either," Red frowned thoughtfully. Well, he did want Giovanni away from his friends, but... The last time Red remembered him doing anything frowned upon (besides being a giant smelly wiener) was at least over three years ago. "... He hasn't done anything stupid for a really long time."
"That's true, but... I bet it won't be too much longer until he DOES do something stupid, right?"
Misty groaned and dipped her head down in disgust. What was he going to do first? Launch an attack on the school? Kill someone? Steal a bunch of Pokemon? Hurt a bunch of Pokemon? It all went through her mind, and... gosh, they were ghastly scenarios! Or should I say, Gastly scenarios. OHOHOHOHO.
"..." Now that he thought about it oh geez what if he was planning something? Much like Misty probably was, he was assuming that the worst had yet to come. He's been too quiet lately so obviously he was up to something.
"I don't think we can tell the headmaster to fire him just because he might do something bad..." He paused, "I think a lot of people wouldn't have jobs if that was the case. We'd have to catch him red-handed." ... Haha, get it?
Haha. Red-handed. All Red would honestly have to do is fall into his arms. (Okay no.)
Misty frowned and laid back into the grass, her arms still crossed in a huff. "Well, I think he should be because of everything that's happened, but... I guess we CAN'T, can we? I mean, he hasn't done anything here yet! Ugh, this SUCKS."
"Yeah..." Red frowned and stared at the lake, suddenly aware that there was still a Quagsire trying to climb on top of his head. But that was okay he was frowning about Giovanni existing. "I'll watch him."

"Well, I think it looks neat," he finally broke the awkward silence. Hi Quagsire what's up.

"SIRE."
Quagsire is all up in Red's face right now.

He gave it a pat on the head. "Uh... I hope I didn't scare you too much."
Reply
Probably. I mean, its cheek was now trying to press against Red's, after all.
