OH HELLO I HEARD THERE WAS A PARTYreign_of_powerMarch 17 2011, 23:04:35 UTC
It didn't take too long for a giant looming figure to give chase to a honking, headless bird. After all, Ganndorf could hover and it made it just that much easier
But there she was.Midna, in the flesh, and as he landed in the softly growing grass, he couldn't help but crack up a smile.
UM YES HELLOimpish_shadowMarch 17 2011, 23:27:31 UTC
Fluffy would protest that it was a face she was lacking, not a head. Poo poo to you too, Gerudo man. The bird came to a surprisingly delicate landing next to her lady. The Twili gave her a smile and a stroke under her chin before she gave Ganondorf any real acknowledgment.
But she did, turning to look at him. It was a careful look, seemingly evaluating his appearance.
"I was always here, unless you mean what happened last week," he mused, stroking his own chin and not the one of a headless I mean faceless bird, poo poo to you too. "That was a rather unfortunate impasse. I barely remember anything that happened. A rather terrible time for you to come back, is it not?"
"Indeed, though I suppose I can't expect the flow of time to bend to my will that easily. I'll count myself luckily that this is when it chose to let me come back."
Midna reached down and picked up another large stick, instantly captivating Fluffy's attention. She waved it once, twice, and then threw it in a large arc. It sped along surprisingly quickly, but it was clear there was a little magical influence to it. The bird crooned and took flight, leaving the pair alone for the moment.
"I grew tired of meeting men that looked like you without being you." There was a hint of a smirk now. "Though the you from last week was fairly amusing in hindsight."
"Was it really? I do not remember anything from it, apart from waking up with one of the Captain's outfits and so much body products I can probably supply the entire school for a few years." He grinned back at her. "I admit I am...pleasantly...surprised to see you back here." He sat down on an invisible chair.
"You appear wiser than before. How much time has passed, I wonder?" It was Ganondorf speak for GOSH YOU LOOK OLDER, you see.
"In hindsight, mind. He was somewhat insufferable in person." She watched him take a seat on the plush pillows that were the air. Oho weren't you clever. Midna could do that too, but at the moment she was going to continue to stand. It was a nice vantage point up here.
"What a kind way of putting it." She saw through your little pleasantries. "It's been three years since I last spoke to you in a pleasant manner such as this."
"Three years," he repeated, the sound of his voice disbelieving. He would have perhaps given her a year older. "That is much longer than I first thought." Wisely, he decided to venture into what the future might bring. "I trust that your kingdom is faring well, then."
Midna gave a dry chuckle. "Well, it's been less than a year for you, has it not? You are not the only one surprised."
She paused at his question, considering her words carefully. How much was she ready to reveal, and how much would he be able to hear? The possibile outcomes were out of her grasp. "Yes, we've rebuilt quite well."
"Perhaps, but your beauty hasn't changed a bit. Or your sharp wit." Oh Ganondorf, you were such a smooth talker. What was a little banter between friends, after all.
"Your compliments have gotten better." A little banter indeed.
Admittedly, it felt very strange to be having the conversation as it was. Midna had been fully prepared to slap the man on sight. He bore such a strong resemblance that it would have been hard not to. But the other him had... softened the blow so to speak. The glutton for power that had poisoned her realm would not have succumbed to being a rose-toting, attractively scented ladies man. They weren't the same. It was a thought she had to keep repeating to herself.
His offhanded comment nearly got her saying it out loud in an attempt to quell the sudden bells of alarm that were ringing. It was the strength of her ungodly charisma points that kept her pleasant demeanor about her. She hadn't come this far without being able to keep her emotions in check
( ... )
"The usual," he explained nonchalantly, missing completely Midna's inner monolog subtle cues. He wasn't preoccupied with that, obviously. "Continuing my work at educating the adults of tomorrow. Taking care of Melissa. Enjoying how the Hyrulian King is denying the Gerudo any freedom." Oh wow that last part came with a large amount of vitriol.
He sighed. "Forgive me. The last few weeks have been incredibly frustrating in negotiations." He switched the subject.
"I would offer you a tour of what has changed but you've already been here for more than a few days. I suppose it would be completely pointless now..."
It was in that moment that Midna decided that he didn't need to know right now. No doubt it would come up eventually, but it didn't need to now. Until that time came, she could keep it hushed close besides her heart. No need to trouble an already troubled king
( ... )
No sooner that said than the Gerudo King did lift his magical floating ass up his magical floating invisible chair and grasp that hand in an ever-so-polite gentlemanly way that was befit a lady of her stature. Then he felt her boobs with his other hand for good measure.
"Very well, if it pleases the lady, who am I to argue? Perhaps you would be interested in the new renovations in the greenhouse." Aka the place that Ganondorf spent a surprisingly amount of time in because he is very jealous of plant life after living in the desert. "It has doubled in size since it was first built. The plant life is always growing." He began to walk and then. "Should we take the long route or..." he stood with one arm raised in a sort of snapping motion that was ready to be started once she gave the word. "Or shall we take the much shorter one?"
Then her hair oh so delicately punched I mean cupped his balls.
"Mmm, I would be, actually. It was just completed before I left, if I'm recalling. I left a few seeds that would be interesting to check up on." She hadn't been entirely certain they'd even take root with this land's soil. The prospect on if they had or not was an intriguing one.
Midna rose a finger to her chin, giving his hand some careful consideration. "Dare I ask what the shorter route consists of?" She grinned. "Surprise me."
"Very well." Surprise it was. As they walked, the air changed, and scenery moved. They were no longer walking but appearing and disappearing somewhere else.
The front of the greenhouse wasn't that impressive, but the speed they had gotten there could only mean he had teleported them there. With an exaggerated flourish if his hand, he waved and one of the front doors opened.
But there she was.Midna, in the flesh, and as he landed in the softly growing grass, he couldn't help but crack up a smile.
"Midna. So you've returned."

"So have you, apparently."
