One of these nights, Pit came into her dorm unannounced. He checked around to see if she was there. "Lash, are you home?"

"Pit?" She looked at him and pointed inside. "Nah Kumatora's gone off tonight. Probably with Duster or something. Did you have a fight with Jeff again?"

"No, not this time," he replied with a short smile. It sunk back into position very quickly, because he had a serious question to ask Lash.

"So, you're really smart and good at inventing all kinds of things," he began, shutting the door behind him. "Aaand, I just had one question to ask. If you were going to track down a clone, what would you do? Or... what would you use?"

Pit took a seat on the nearest couch, holding his hands up and saying, "No, no no." But should he even tell her why he was asking her in the first place? Maybe he could avoid the real reason and loop around to another, one that was completely valid and technically not a lie. "But... it could happen one of these days. I just wanted to know if there was a way you could hunt them down without going through all the hassle of searching without having some way of tracking them down."
