In all honesty, when the boss had said that he'd like to take Archer shopping, the first thing the Executive thought was stealing. Granted, Archer was hardly the best thief in the world, but he doubted stealing in a shopping center would be a very good idea. Of course the boss could get away with it - he was the boss, what couldn't he do? - but Archer wasn't keen on the idea of being thrown in jail.
It was only when Giovanni clarified that they were shopping for clothes that Archer fully understood. It was also then that the sinking feeling started, and even now he hadn't hit rock bottom, despite the fact that it was cold out and he didn't even have a jacket. Of course that would be the first order of business, so at least he could hide the Team Rocket emblem proudly displayed on his chest. He didn't really see the point in hiding it - most people he had run into knew very little about Team Rocket, and most hadn't even heard of Kanto or Johto. There really was no need to worry.
But that didn't stop him from worrying. Archer had been rather quiet after meeting Raikov, who was supposedly a really good friend to the boss. It was difficult to believe anything the man said - if not downright impossible (Giovanni would never want to seriously disband Team Rocket, right?). That didn't stop the fear that Archer really didn't know as much about the boss as he had thought. Maybe Giovanni really did dislike what Team Rocket had done to him. Maybe Raikov was right about everything.
...No, he wouldn't even entertain that thought.
"Are you certain this is the best place to shop, boss?" Everything was rather pricy and Archer wasn't exactly made of money.
