He remembered a while back...he had a blind date once...with a boy. Would this be as strange? Well, this time the date was a woman...how bad could it be? And then he thought about what would happen if he had ignored it. What if the letter was actually meant for him and this mystery 'date' was expecting him to arrive. His mind started running through possibilities...
And then, two days later, he found himself in front of her door, knocking softly as his eyes wandered from the tips of his toes to her door. His free hand fidgeted with the end of his scarf while the other clutched at the handle of the picnic basket he had prepared a couple days earlier.
He waited for this mysterious message sender to arrive.

That was a good thing. Sasha loved scarves.
And a picnic basket! In the middle of winter but that was okay, there were many places where they could have picnics (probably, she had no idea. She always considered eating with Red team in the mountains as an overly elongated picnic so...). This was off to a good start.
"Hello!" Now to find out his name.

He thought about how ridiculous me must have looked. He had no way of taking her anywhere too far from campus because, well, he couldn't drive: his entire life had been spent on his feet and so walking wasn't such a big problem, but he had to take into consideration his company.
"Do you mind going for a walk with me?" A deliberately vague response, but he had to know if she was okay with it.
(OOC: Also forgive my lameness, but I forgot to add the time. ^^; it's around sunsetish.)

"Sasha," she answered, holding out her hand for a handshake. "And I don't mind walks at all. I just uh...have a tenancy to tumble sometimes." The truth was always important. "I fall once in a while. Still unused to the human feet." Hell, still unused to her Charizard feet.

But then Isaac's eyes widened a little.
"The last thing I want is for you to get hurt," he said with building confidence, "so if you think you're going to trip, just grab on to me or something and I'll help you out." But the path wasn't very rocky or uneven though a little iced over due to the cold; he thought Sasha would be fine and gave her an assuring smile. "Well, after you grab your jacket, we can leave if you'd like." He had no idea how to do this...really, he didn't...

"Okay!" SLAM. The door closed and she appeared a few minutes later, a coat over her shoulders and wings clasp over that. There would be no chance of her getting cold after this!
"Ready when you are!"

"Of course, ladies first!" he chuckled, cheeks going from red to pink.
But the weather wasn't at all hospitable for a picnic and so he might have looked slightly insane or just naive had he been spotted. As the sun set, the light bounced off of the ice that dotted the grass and reflected rays upward. It was beautiful, yes, but not comfortable no. And, to accommodate the lady in his company and ensure she was well taken care of, wherever Isaac stepped, he left a path of fresh green grass for her to walk over. Yep, being an Adept had its benefits.
"Do you like sunsets, Sasha?" the boy looked over his shoulder, smiling.

"I love them," she finally answered as they continued to move. "I try to get up for every sunrise in the morning but...not much for sunsets admittedly."

He stepped off the warm grass path he had made for Sasha and into the frosted lawn. The path continued to run until it reached a sizable patch of live, green grass. Flower buds spotted the perimeter and with a swift hand motion, Isaac forced them to open before her.
"Winter isn't really the best time for a picnic, so I thought I'd take nature into my own hands."

Vinnie would freak out if he saw these.
"They're...really beautiful."

He got to work, setting down the picnic basket and opening the blanket on the warm patch of grass he had fabricated, beneath the tree that he had specially chosen to guard them from any ill-intentioned weather. And when all was set up, he held his hand out to her, "Care to join me?" A smile followed.
Reply
"Of course!" She extended her hand to his and let herself be guided to the patches of grass and flowers.

"I didn't know what you liked, so I just packed a bit of everything," he laughed nervously, cheeks turning pink as he unloaded the bread, cheese, salad, meats, and drinks from the woven basket. "Anything in particular you like?" he looked at her, trying not to show how he was growing progressively more nervous.
Reply
"Meat actually! Charizards tend to eat the most of it in the wild." She looked at everything. "But it all looks so good!" she sat down, legs crossed, waiting for him to offer something to her, being as polite as possible.

"Oh! It's really good!" She held herself from just grabbing the entire plate and stuffing herself stupid. "This is amazing!"
