THIS ISN'T THREED... )
"Da... Um, Dr. Andonuts said it was pretty old, and there wasn't a lot of time to patch it up before takeoff. Or learn how to land it safely." Jeff had a sinking feeling it had more to do with him than his father.

"First time flyer?"

"Yeah, I... I've never even left Winters before." Before his wacky adventure began, he'd never even been much further than Lake Tess. He rubbed the back of his head, hoping he would sound impressive by adding, "I know how to ride a Skidoo! But it's not the same at all..."

"Let's go grab some tools. There should be some extras in the autoshop room."

Autoshop room. Snow Wood didn't have one of those but he could hazard a guess as to what it contained. Auto...mobiles. CARS. There were none of those in Winters, either. He heard rumours that the old Headmaster kept one around in his youth but there were no roads to drive it on. But if it was true, where was that car now? Tessie drove it around the bottom of the lake, obviously.
Maybe he would get to touch a real life car. And peek under the hood. This was all so very exciting, and Jeff leapt from his seat, his mood obviously much brighter than it was a few moments ago.
"Lead the way!"

What was in the autoshop room was a veritable mess of works-in-progress from students, teachers, and otherwise. Pieces of cars and motorcycles and flying machines littered the garage, with tools and blueprints scattered everywhere, and a suspicious brown smear on one of the walls that was totally motor oil and not blood. Nope.
Falcon made a beeline for a large, blue toolbox. "Here we are."

THIS WAS THE BEST SCHOOL EVER.
Oh. But he'd have to leave it and go back to his own time. Oh yeah... At least he knew he'd get to see this all again when he was older. Even if it meant waiting a few years. Sigh.
