Thursday early afternoon, 16th

When Ulki said he was okay to tag along with her to the Pokecenter, Spinny practically jumped for joy and probably even did a dance before she got her things together for the visit. Once they were out of the dormitory rooms, though, her energetic side died down and she quietly walked right behind the Laguz and latched onto his clothes for the entire trip.

When they arrived the room where Sasha and Vinnie were in, Spinny fidgeted around behind Ulki, not knowing what to do.

Ulki pushed her by saying, "It is alright. They expect visitors."

He wasn't so sure about this himself. He didn't know these people. Ulki wasn't very good at associating with people in general, so he was sure he would perform his usual: standing by, waiting for Spinny to finish her meeting.

Vinnie was scratching at a new change of bandages. Seeing as how he kept taking on human form and opening up the wounds on his back, the Nurse had to force him into staying that way.

Everything hurt more as a human, but at least he didn't have to be constantly reminded that his leaves were gone. It made it easier to pretend he was okay that way.

Seeing Spinny, he tried to smile for her - though it ended up more like a small flicker of a grin. Out of everyone, he didn't want her to freak out. But between Sasha's condition and the blood on his own bandages, it was more likely than not.

"Hey Spinner." His eyes glanced over at the winged man who had accompanied her. "This your friend?"

Oh god the bandages. They made things so depressing...and definitely scary too. It kind of reminded her of the mummies people put up as decorations during Halloween. Spinny covered her eyes with a hand before attempting to make her way over to the beds as she carried a paper bag filled with something over. She gave a nod to answer Vinnie's question. He was like a father figure to her, but she had no clue how to express that in words at the moment.

"Here..." She said as she looked down at the bag, too afraid to look at the bandages. "...Some...comic books...to read...while...in bed..." She explained as she took out some books. "...And...some berries."

There was a little twang in Vinnie's heart as soon as he noticed that Spinner was trying to avoid eye contact. She looked scared. Was she scared of him now? Because he hurt people?

Good job, Vinnie. In one fell swoop, you drove away any new friends you might've made at this school. His stomach twisted uncomfortably as it tried to will into existence some magic way to make things better.

But... she still brought him things. And visited, like she said she would. He had to take some comfort that not everything was lost. While he wasn't a prolific reader of comic books, he was going to start for Spinner's sake.

So the Venusaur forced himself to smile. "That's really thoughtful of you. What... kind of comics are they?"

Oh the misunderstanding. Good thing Spinny didn't know the guilt Vinnie was holding, otherwise she would feel guilty herself.

Vinnie's question made her feel a little less sad, though; he took interest in the comic books! She looked up as she took out some of the comic books to show.

"...Action...super heroes...Lot's of fighting..." She tried to explain better by showing some fake kung-fu poses.
