((Sorry about being late too. xD Fireworks party happened.))

As soon as the announcer's voice bellowed the signal to begin, Dimentio whirled around to face his minute opponent. She was rushing towards him, looking determined and gripping a frying pan firmly.

'So that's her weapon of choice? How quaint~' He thought. He didn't have much time to think of any sort of simile, however, as he barely managed to dodge the frying pan as it was swung at him. He jerked back sharply, as though an invisible rope around his neck had been yanked, to avoid it.

The swing had been quick, and there was little time for him to process the situation before she swung yet again, this time landing a blow on his side. Mostly out of surprise from being struck, a barrier instantly engulfed him and vanished, only to have him reappear directly behind the girl. He had teleported so quickly, she seemed confused. The perfect oppertunity to try and strike.

Within the span of half a second, his hand flew out from under his striped cloak and he quickly snapped his fingers. A miniature explosion appeared in the small space between the two fighters. Dimentio, knowing his own magic couldn't harm himself, didn't flinch at the sudden burst of fire.
