Who: Archer and Giovanni.
Where: In the hallway outside of Giovanni's classroom.
When: Forward-dated to after the Blind Date event; Tuesday, November 23, after Giovanni's class.
Warnings: Archer being a creepy stalker. Team Rocket-y things.

He obediently followed the boss back into the classroom. Archer glanced around, taking in the surroundings. The Gym in Viridian City had been Giovanni's - and like that Gym, this showed no signs of belonging to the mastermind behind Team Rocket. Archer returned his attention to the boss as the door shut though. His hands locked in front of him as the boss lit a cigarette. "You're correct." Archer nodded at Giovanni's words. "Unfortunately a Pokemon trainer stood in our way several times. She ultimately managed to defeat the Grunts stationed within Goldenrod's Radio Tower, as well as all of the Executives, myself included." He didn't look overly pissed about that though - Lyra was a good trainer. He had figured he would lose anyway; Archer wasn't exactly an expert trainer. Still, the defeat stung. "We did capture the Radio Tower in an attempt to contact you, boss, but we had other plans as well."

Archer moved a bit, shifting to a slightly more comfortable position as he began to explain what had happened within the Johto region. "The experiments within the Sevii Islands were just the beginning. We discovered that radio waves could be used to force evolution on Pokemon. The Lake of Rage was the pefect spot. We set up a base in Mahogany Town and manipulated the radio waves there to force the Magikarp to evolve. It was merely a test for a larger-scale operation that would involve the Radio Tower and all of Johto as a whole - but unfortunately we didn't get there." Archer did frown at that; it was indeed a shame that such hard work had gone to waste. Ah, but he had found Giovanni - albeit unintentionally. "We had hoped that the broadcast reached you, but after our defeat at the Radio Tower it wasn't feasible to continue our operations in Johto. I... disbanded Team Rocket a little over three months ago." There was genuine shame in those words - admitting defeat was one thing, but admitting it to a child - even a skilled one - was another entirely.
