Looks like Daisy was there first. Well, all she could do right now was take her seat, and see who she ended up getting matched with, and hope it wasn't going to be absolutely horrible.

Maybe not absolutely horrible, but potentially very boring. Though that was probably the same thing. Oops.

Vianca appeared not too long after Daisy did. She looked at the card on the table, then the card in her hand, and then Daisy herself. Oh. Well. This could be pleasant. Yessss.icon.

She quietly took a seat across from the princess. "Hello."

Whut. Her date was Vianca. Whut. Ganondorf, your experiments sucked.

"Oh, Vianca!" But she was not rude. Whatever else she thought of Ganondorf's choice, at least she was determined to have fun with a friend. "How are you?"

"I am well," was the redhead's quiet reply.

It occurred to her that perhaps she might not have been what Daisy might have been expecting. The redhead tilted her head very slightly as she considered this. "... I hope I might be an acceptable companion for the evening."

"Don't worry about it," she said. "No reason we can't just have dinner and talk like friends!" she added.

Oh. Well. Alright. It seemed like this had indeed been the case. Just friends it was then. Though Vianca wouldn't have minded otherwise.

Vianca nodded once. "How..." She paused slightly with the chatter of the restaurant. "How are you?" She tried again.

"Oh, I'm doing fine," she said. "Feeling a bit listless though. Not a lot going on, and I just want something to happen! How about you?"

"I am sure something will happen eventually," Vianca commented. Something always seemed to happen. Wasn't there just a big to-do with kidnappings or something?

"It might be good that there hasn't been much. ...Less people visit the infirmary that way." Which meant more time for Vianca to read, and less people being injured in some fashion.

...but there was always someone getting injured so who was she kidding?

"I hope so," she said. "I mean, the holidays are coming up. Surely there's gonna be some big party around here!" She was definitely looking forward to that.

Oh that's what she had meant. Vianca could get behind parties. Maybe not attend them, but they were certainly more or less acceptable. Vianca nodded her head.

"It would seem odd if there were not one." She tilted her head slightly. Perhaps she could use this to figure out how one could be... more personable? "Do you attend parties often?"

"Well, I sure try to," she answered. "I love parties, mainly the more casual ones. Formal parties are okay, but I mostly do them for my father's sake. Just a few friends getting together and having fun, that's the best kind of party if you ask me!"

"What about you? Do you ever go to parties?"

Vianca hesitated a moment before slowly shaking her head. She had never been invited to a party, and they didn't seem to be the sorts of things one could just appear at.

"Well I'll tell you what, next time I'm having a party, you're definitely invited! Okay?"
