What: BLIND DATES!

Where: Off-campus restaurant. AND BEYOND!

Despite the disaster that was her blind date the last time this happened, Zelda had signed herself up willingly this round. Even if she wasn't necessarily looking for romance, it was still nice to meet new people, just as long as they weren't grumpy and rude and horrible.

It was probably a good thing she was optimistic.

Zelda was in luck! Her partner was not grumpy, rude, or horrible... maybe a little erked that Sasha or Vinnie must have entered him in this stupid event...

But it was rude to leave someone waiting for you, so Kojiro made his way over to the table. He was a bit taken aback by the beautiful woman sitting there. For once, he had to take a moment to think of what to say.

"Ah.. Hello."

Smooth.

Ah! A student she hadn't met yet. Instantly, the princess' face broke into a smile and she stood, extending a hand in greeting. Koji's apparent akwardness was completely lost on her--meeting new people was always so exciting, especially when they were a nice-looking young man. This round of dates was looking up!

"I'm Zelda. It's very nice to meet you."

Kojiro gently took her hand and shook it, returning the smile. "A pleasure to meet you as well, Miss Zelda. I'm Kojiro."

"The pleasure is all mine, Kojiro."

Now that greetings had been successfully exchanged, Zelda returned to her seat and poured both of them a glass of water from the small pitcher on the table. Already she had higher hopes for this particular round of blind dates, so the princess pushed forward with conversation.

"Tell me a bit about yourself." She said, smiling. "You're relatively new to the school, aren't you?"

Kojiro sat down across from Zelda, taking his glass of water. "Yes, I arrived with the rest of Red's team. Have you ever met him before..? He is a very wonderful person and trainer."

"Ah, you're a member of his team." Zelda, admittedly, didn't know Red very well, but her job as an RA was to keep up with the student rosters, and the trainer had been here long enough for her to put a face to the name. "I must admit, I haven't had the chance to get to know him."

"Yes, so this school has been quite an interesting experience for me. It has been fun though. I imagine there aren't too many pokemon that can say they've gotten a proper education, or one at all."

"It's certainly a unique place." Unlike any place she'd ever been. "I don't know much about the Pokemon homelands, but I can safely say that the opportunity Smash Academy provides for all of us is really incredible."

But of course, she'd realized she hadn't told Kojiro what her role in all that was. "I'm the RA for the girls. I met...Sasha? Is she your teammate?"

"Aside from our rivals, this place and its people have been very kind." When Zelda mentioned Sasha, he chuckled. "Yes, she is. I hope she didn't bother you too much?"

"Oh, of course not." She replied, smiling and taking another small sip from her glass. "I went by her room to drop off a fire extinguisher. She seems very nice."

It was about then that she realized she hadn't even looked at the menu. Zelda picked it up, paging through briefly before looking back up at Kojiro. "Did you see anything in particular on the menu you'd like?"

"She is, although she can get a tad feisty at times.. From what I've encountered, the Charmander evolution line is known for that."

Ah yes, the menus. Kojiro picked his up as well and flipped through it. "As long as it isn't sour, I have no objections to what we order. The smoked salmon and sturgeon with lemon herbs sounds interesting."

Feisty seemed to be a given, judging from how quickly her keyboard had become a victim of what Zelda presumed to be fire breath. But hopefully now that there were fire extinguishers, there wouldn't be a repeat performance. Zelda did pride herself in a not-on-fire set of girls' dorms, after all.

"I'm not terribly picky either." She replied, paging through the menu. "I might ask the waiter what he recommends." Her gaze didn't stay on the menu for very long, however, and her line of sight drifted towards the windows. "It's a lovely view, don't you think?"

Kojiro joined in, studying the view. "Yes. I never thought I'd ever be up so high. The mountains we lived in for a while were relatively high up but not as much as this place."

Her interest was piqued when he mentioned living in the mountains. It was just so exciting to learn about new people! So, of course she was going to ask about it.

"The mountains? Is that where you're from?"
