Bother Mac in BE-6 Anyday All the Time

Mac's been pretty quiet lately. Whether Jake was in the room or not, he found himself really just doing...normal things. He lifts his weight (the one Lash made for him) and punches his little punching bag when he's neither sitting down or doing daily training and homework. He's always available for bugging.

[Oh hey Mac, it's a Vanni at you door. He has no idea if you even want to see him, but he won't know until he tries, man. Knock knock~]

You guys' friendship has recovered enough that he didn't mind if you popped your head in to say "hi", Giovanni.

"Yeah? C'mon in, door's open!" Mac replied as he was lifting the weight still by his desk.

[breaks_ground]

Giovanni's just. going to poke his head in the door and make sure you are totally cool with this.

"Hi, Mac. Is it alright if I come in?"

..Well, Giovanni was nice enough to not invade Mac's bedroom but...Darnit, he didn't want to make Giovanni nervous about ever showing his face to Mac ever again.

"Hey...it's cool, man. Come in."

[breaks_ground]

He's trying, Mac. He's trying this whole nice thing...

"Thank you." He quietly shut the door behind him. "How are you doing? That rescue effort was rather crazy, wasn't it?"

Darn it, he still felt nervous.

He stops lifting his weight and sighs.

"...Yeah...I'm just glad she's okay, y'know..." GIOVANNI, LASH IS LIKE ONE OF MAC'S CLOSEST FRIENDS (at least on his end).

"Me too," Giovanni agreed, walking over and, after a moment of hesitation, putting his hand on Mac's shoulder, "You did really well, Mac. Not a lot of people would...risk themselves like that."

Argh trying to be helpful is hard.

He realized you were trying.

"She's my best friend, of course I woulda risked myself to save her," Pause. "Even if she wasn't, I'd help."

The older Italian chuckled, "Better than I would have done at your age. I think I was too self-absorbed and angry to do such."
Nice to know one of those changed...though not both.

He cleared his throat, "So...would you like to do something?"

From what he's learned about you...he could understand those things. But dear god, anything to maybe perk him up somehow and have him be proactive.

"...Yeah, like what?"

At least you didn't run from home to go to college in a completely different country, Mac. :|

"Well, we could train together, or maybe talk about the testing stuff...whatever you'd like, really."

He's not even in college yet, Rocket Man.

Ugh, test. Even if it was for Pokemon. He did not want to talk about test related things now.

"I could use a nice day of trainin'."

Well don't run away to college Mac. It's a bad idea.

'Heh, we have been talking about that for awhile, haven't we? That sounds lovely."

"I was gonna go joggin' soon anyway," Mac said as he popped from his desk and put on his very manly pink sweatsuit. He turned and made a teasing competitive smirk, "I've seen ya jog with Mr. Raikov, think you could catch up with me?"

Giovanni grinned back, "I don't know, but we can always find out. Let's stop by my apartment first so I can change and then we shall get going."

Also, he had to chuckle at the sweatsuit, "Pink, hm?"
