Cyrus entered the arena unknowing what to expect. This Shakti had offered to battle him, but he had never met her and knew only that her team was "unconventional", or so she had said.
But none of that mattered. He had prepared to battle the gods themselves, and had handled them easily. His team was running at 100% as he so demanded of them and of himself. And after a day of study, a change of pace would be welcome.
She was late, but that was to be expected. The cruise--why had he let Voile talk him into going?--had taken most of the population away, and not everyone was as prepared as he was to return to their duties upon return.
Silently he waited for whatever this person had in wait for him.
