The printer had been running all day, and rather than waste time letting it rest, Cyrus had simply bought a new one. He had just hooked it up and it was running smoothly, although he was running test prints first. He couldn't risk an error on his freshly-written tome.
Uncharacteristally, his door was open as he awaited students for meetings. He would gage them on a personal level and lecture them directly on the nature of ethics. And if they were lucky, he would give them their textbook out of the heavy stack of those that had already printed. Nine hundred thirty seven pages of brilliance, the wisdom of the ages.
Also uncharacteristally, he was brewing tea. If meeting with Voile had taught him anything about social interaction, the presence of tea was a calming thing for many people, and would be a valuable tool in winning people over. Or at least neutralizing their thoughts towards him.
And in case that didn't work, Weavile and Houndoom were at the ready. Just in case.
