It was late at night. Nailah walked out from the school so she could stretch her legs and admire the full moon. It looked much more beautiful here than over the desert, almost casting a death watch on them.

Unfortunately, the duo was dealing with a laguz who had heightened senses. They were trying to sneak away so clumsily (at least to her) she could hear the rustle of leaves behind her. Tsk. Silly beorc.

Like a blanket would help you. The sounds of paws running suddenly got closer, and then the beast swiftly grabbed Raikov's weapon and bolted away with it. All they could have managed to see was a pure white blur and the sounds of tiny bells.

It was quiet again. But for how long?

Raikov screamed and fell over on to his butt. "M.. My shotgun!"

Now they were defenseless.

And then Ocelot tried to run away.

What just happened!? One minute Raikov was standing right next to him and the next he was on his butt, shotgun-less. AN ATTACK FROM ABOVE!? Talk about cowardly. He looked for something to shoot at (well SOMETHING had to be out there), "Show yourself!"

A 6 foot tall wolf answered, jumping on Ocelot and pinning him down while moving his gun away before he had a chance to fire.

The it poked him on the forehead with its nose.
