Metal was acclimating himself to his new environment still. He didn't spend much time outside the Eggblimp, and the school had a lot of things to offer, the city more so.
He found himself coming across a woman who caused his database to ping. 'Zelda, Princess. Hyrule.' This wasn't relevant to him, Hyrule was a place he'd never even heard of outside of his own databanks. But, she was alone, and having a friend in royalty was always nice.
He waited until after she had let off another arrow. "Hello." He said simply, approaching from behind her.
In being away for such a long time, Zelda had missed an influx of new students, among them Sonic's robotic doppleganger. Though in her time at Smash Academy she'd become accustomed to most technologies, there were still a few things that surprised her.
Robot hedgehogs being one of them.
Still, she wasn't about to be unfriendly. "Hello." She replied with a smile. "I don't believe we've met."
"I should have guessed this school would have an archery range. Not all ranged combat is guns and explosions these days, is it?" He silently began a scan of the princess.
She remained largely oblivious of the scan, as robots were not exactly Zelda's specialty. Archery, however, was something she could talk about, especially in the face of said guns and explosions. "That's certainly true. I must admit I prefer the more traditional arts."

"Archery isn't something many robots learn." He stepped up to the range, taking place next to her. "Do you teach a course on it?"

Zelda did enjoy Shinon's class, finding the mercenary's dour attitude more amusing than anything else. "I do join in every now and again, though."
