School Improvement Season 2 Episode 1
Who: MANLY MEN, MANLY ASSISTANTS, AND STUDENTS OF VARYING DEGREES OF MANLINESS. The lurkers are just plain sissies though.
What: Doing manly things with manly wood.
When: Bright and early Thursday morning.
Warnings: Testosterone levels are through the ROOF.
Lighter was in a good mood. The skies were clear, the weather was warm, and the forest was green again. As crazy as this school could get, there were times like these that he couldn't deny that some of the things the people here were capable of were nothing short of amazing.
"Mornin', class. With summer here I expect everyone's gonna be spendin' a lot more time outside, even to eat, so I figure what this place needs is a couple of picnic tables! As you can see, I got this one here all set up and rarin' to go already so y'all can get a good idea of what one should look like. Flint mighta helped a bit. Maybe. Keep in mind there's some folks here a lot bigger than, uh, regular people." MAX. "So we're gonna need extra support on some of'em."
He gestured to the neat pile of wooden planks and collection of tools and sawhorses all prepared for the students. L...Lighter was trusting the students with saws, yes. Evidently a good mood meant he threw all common sense out the window. Surely no deadly injuries would befall anyone!
"Let's see... Groups of about three oughta do it. Don't bother goin' all 'modern artsy' on it and make it look all... weird and likely to collapse. The important thing's that you can sit on it without it fallin' over. We'll worry about painting next week."
