Lash had been behaving strangely. No doubt about it. She was being more cruel than Jake had come to expect of her. She hadn't been like this since the war, when they rescued her and Hawke from Black Hole. If she was going back to that, Jake thought it would be best to sit her down and have a talk. There had to be a reason.
He walked to the girls dorms, up to Lash's door. He thought about it. Lash probably wouldn't answer even if he did knock, if she was really that gone. So what did he do? He decided to just let himself in. "Lash?"
