[Of course Canas would come to Smash Academy's literature class! He is such a book nerd he reads every day all the time and adores all kinds of language-related subjects. Without a critical eye, he watches the class, smiling all the while.]

Once the opportunity arose, Canas made his way over to the teacher.

"Hello. My name is Canas, a new student teacher at this school." He held out his hand to offer a handshake. "And you are?"

"Chase. It is a pleasure to meet you." Bonechill said blankly, returning Canas' handshake.

Canas flashed a smile. As if he weren't already smiling. "You think so? Haha, I guess it could be." He looked out the door. "Well, I really must be moving along now. I'll definitely see you again, Mr. Chase."

Bonechill was silent as Canas left the room.

Perhaps Bonechill was a bit paranoid, but he felt he should keep an eye out for Canas from now on. Just to be safe.

[As soon as her haiku was written and handed in, Nyx fell asleep on her desk.

She should really stop going to classes. They screw up her sleep schedule too much.]

Bonechill looked up and noticed Nyx, asleep on her desk.

He got up and calmly strolled across the room, placing his left hand on her desk.

A thin layer of ice crystals began to form on the wooden surface, and around Nyx's arms.
