((HEY LIZ! If you wanna do Paula/Hoji leaf jumping, wanna go ahead and do so here?))
Hojita was out on her little exploration deals, blah blah, the usual. That was just about when she caught sight of the leaves.
She grinned, finding this to be a grand opportunity. She made a run for a nearby pile and PLOMP! In she went, falling back into the mound of oranges and yellows. Awesome.

Paula had been walking past the pile of leaves, looking on in anticipation. But she managed to contain her excitement. She had promised to jump in with Hoji, after all.
Speaking of the other girl oh hey there she was! "Hi!" the blond waved. "You sure don't waste any time, hee hee."

((MATCHING ICONS! oDo))
"Nope! Hiiiiiii!!" Hojita waved and climbed out of the pile of leaves. Some of them stuck to her clothing and her poor, tangled hair, but ah well. She really didn't care at all. Filth was more than worth it for fun.
"Look! The leaves are really fun! See?!" She then innocently threw some above Paula, letting them fall gently around to the ground again and maybe onto her head, oops.
The blond hadn't even jumped in yet and there were already leaves in her hair thanks to Hojita. Giggling, she picked one out and stared at it. "Yes, very fun," she nodded. Dropping the leaf, pushed the pile together again. "Why don't we jump in together?"
"Oooh, okay! That sounds fun!" Hojita agreed, mounding up the pile along with her to make it nice and tall. She backed up and stood right alongside Paula, and then she began to count down.
"1...
2...
3!"
BWOOSH. She pounced into the bundle of crunchy leaves.
As Hoji counted down, Paula stood ready. She jumped into the pile at the same time as the other girl. The leaves flew everywhere, some getting caught in her hair while others got stuck within the folds of her bow.
As they sat in the pile, the blond grabbed a large handful of leaves and threw it up. Watching the leaves rain down, she stated, "This is why I love autumn. Aren't the colors pretty?"
Hoji shrieked with glee. She certainly was pretty excitable about the current events right now. "Yeeeaaaaah!! It's really, really nice! Look!" She took more leaves and started throwing them high (er, as high as possible) up into the air.
She began to pile some leaves back up around her and instructed, "Let's play a game!" She removed her earrings and poof! There was a little Bulbmin standing there. Or er, she was. Now she was digging into the leaf pile and shifting around inside, trying to hide. Paula would have to catch her! Oh goodie!
"A game?" Paula blinked. She was about to ask what the other meant when Hoji transformed and disappeared from sight. Pausing for a moment, she glanced around. What did the other girl mean by 'a game'?
Oh! Maybe Hojita wanted Paula to find her. That must have been it! Like finding a needle in a haystack. Or rather a Bulbmin in a leaf pile.
Giggling to herself, she started searching through the leaves.
Hojita noticed Paula's hand draw a little closer to her as she dug through the leaf pile. She giggled, still in hiding, and decided to play around a little. She took her bud and waved it at her fingertips, aiming to tickle her some.
"Piiii," She squeaked. Tickle tickle, tickle tickle. She then ran off through the leaves again. They ruffled along in a little path, so she'd probably be easy to follow and find now!
Felling the bud brush against her fingers, she couldn't help but recoil her hand in a fit of laughter. "H-hey!" she managed through giggles. "That's not fair!"
Once she had composed herself, she started looking around the pile. She noticed something rustling underneath the leaves. With a big smile on her lips, she lunged through the pile in an attempt to catch the bulbmin.
And catch her, she did! Hey Paula, there is now a little, adorable polka-dotted creature squirming in your hands. Hoji finally did stop moving, however, and glanced up at Paula. She did it! That was neat!
She swayed her stalk around a little, squeaking a little tune.
"Found you," she giggled. Glancing down at the bulbmin in her hands, she couldn't help but notice the stalk swaying and the chirping. It sounded almost like a little song. That was... T-that was...
"So cute!" Paula cooed as she hugged Hoji. She quickly found herself humming along.
That just turned into one tiny humming tune, the only sound the two could hear apart from the crunching of leaves around them and the blowing of the autumn breeze. That was certainly an adorable moment! Even Essay is squealing a little inside because that is just too darn cute.
After some time, though, Hoji jumped out of Paula's arms and rolled around in the leaves some more. She then glanced around, looking for her earrings, but... where were they?
Uh oh. Did she lose them in the leaf pile? Well, oops. Looks like it was time for BOTH of them to play search.
"Wah?" Hoji squeaked, tilting her head in slight dismay.
Hoji squeaked some more, but then realized that Paula wasn't understanding her. Great, without her earrings, she couldn't turn human, and thus she couldn't talk. How in the WORLD...
Aha! She had it! She took her bud and dipped it down carefully onto the ground. She made two circles and put two more circles overlapping the top of them like hoops of earrings. She then made lines inside of the two bigger circles, and in the center of those, well, two more circles!
In the end, they looked like Pokeballs with earring attachments, much like her humanizing earrings.
"Wah! Wah!" She hopped up and down, hoping that Paula knew what she meant.
First the chirping song and now drawing on the ground? T-that was just too cute! Daaaawwww...
Oh no wait, what was she drawing? Those circles... Paula could have sworn she had seen a similar shape before. Wait, the drawing sort of looked like Hojita's earrings. "Oh!" she gasped in realization. "Your earrings! Is that it? Something about your earrings?"

The other seemed to be looking for something. But what? Did Hojita want to play another game? Maybe she was looking for a better hiding spot.
"What is it?" the blond asked.
