Robotnik didn't want to be there. He wanted to be off putting his plans to rule the world into action. He spent WEEKS on those plans. And what happened? They were all undone when the little pink puffball asked him to take him out trick or treating. And then Lash joined in. And then Flurrie got in on it. He was quite... unsettled by the amount of power those three seemed to hold over him. If this kept up, it would put a serious kink in his world conquering timeline. But what scared him the most was the fact that when he looked at Flurrie, when Lash and Kirby came to bother him, he found himself thinking that it wouldn't be such a bad thing.
And so there he was, standing on the sidewalk with Flurrie, watching as Lash and Kirby ran from house to house demanding treats.
