What: Surge and Shinon go drinking

Surge had decided that it would be a good night to go drinking. He didn't have anything planned and no work that needed to be done. Rather than simply drinking at the apartment, he wanted to go out. A change of scenery was always welcome. So after telling Goose his plans, he headed downtown.
It was easy to find a bar. The real problem was finding one that still had open seats on a Saturday night. The city became quite lively over the weekend, especially in the evenings. But thankfully his search was not in vain.
Slipping into a relatively calm bar, he managed to snag stool. There were still a few seats open within the room, including the stool beside the lieutenant. He waved to the bartender and ordered a beer as his first drink. Might as well start the night off light.
