Jeff was walking outside when he saw Green just sitting on the hill. He didn't really pay the other boy much attention. But as he strolled behind the other student, he couldn't help but overhear the chuckling.

The blond stopped, smirking. "You talking about anyone in particular or just the school in general?"

"Well, I can't say all of them, a couple stand out, besides me." He raised his hands in a half shrug. "But for the most part..." Green pointed to Nameless Student #43. "I mean, look at him. That blank, emotionless stare. The way his hair flops like a dead plant. And he probably thinks there's nothing wrong with it!"

"And who are you, then? Just oneof the many losers?"

"Please don't lump me into the same category as him," Jeff nodded towards Nameless Student #43. "I should hope that I'm a cut above that."

"The name's Jeff Angel. And from what I can tell, we have similar opinions about our classmates." Chuckling, he asked, "And you are?"

He grinned, turning and offering his hand. "Green Oak. Care to join me?"

Jeff shook the offered hand, then sat down next to Green. "Don't mind if I do."
