A chance meeting at the library! Onward to the bar!
Who: Goose, EVA
What: The title pretty much... says it all. They meet up by chance and hit a bar. 8(
Where: The library, then some bar somewhere.
When: Backdating to October 1st since Goose is getting Skull Kid'd today.
Warnings: Swearing and drinking. Probably not much else!
Being a pilot sometimes wasn't automatically enough to aid him in his teaching. Sure, he knew a lot of things, but there were a lot of things that he still did not know. He had been a pilot for about a year and a half to two years now, but in comparison to those who have been pilots for ten years or more, it really wasn't much. Goose didn't have as much experience as some, and thus, he didn't know everything he needed to. For that, he looked towards reference and practice to help him in his instructing.
He popped into the library, letting out a soft 'hoowee' at all of the books lining the shelves. It always surprised him that this little school library could hold so many books. Not that he cared for most of them or anything, though; he was not really much of a reader unless he needed it.
After he picked out what he'd like to take home for a few days, he headed over to EVA's desk. He had talked to her a couple of times before, yet they never really got to know each other before. He could use a drink, considering that he'd probably need to relax a day before he'd have to get back on the ball for learning for his next week's class. Perhaps that would be a good excuse. Time to build up to it!
"Heeey EVA. Bringin' some books home with me for a coupla' days, if ya don't mind." He'd bring the idea up to her before he'd leave. Who knows? Maybe he could even drag her out to the bar on his way home if she would be for the idea.
