Boldly going where no man has gone before...

What: Captain Falcon may or may not have sometimes wondered about the hows and whys of his amazing ability to spontaneously combust himself. Samus offers a possible explanation but, a battery of tests will have to be performed first. In other words, this is a log in which Falcon has things stuck in him. Probably painful things.

For a moment Falcon maybe half expected the gunship to make some kind of cheeky remark or zap him in the butt or something. Raptor Perry most certainly would have, which only reminded him that the disk was still missing. The magazines, however, had mysteriously returned to the bottom drawer of his desk, sans disk, relatively untouched but maybe a little stickier than usual. The Captain would have thought more of it and probably investigated the situation further had it not been the week Black Shadow had decided to show up. So there had been bigger things to worry about.

He nodded and took a seat, figuring she'd want him there anyway, but waiting for her invitation to actually do so. As Samus hooked him up to the monitors, he hoped they were fireproof, Falcon guessed that she should probably know everything he knew. Even if it seemed irrelevant, every little bit would help. And there were no needles yet. That helped too.

"Okay, uhm. I can only do it to myself. I can't think really hard and ignite your dashboard. It doesn't work remotely, so the only way I can catch something else on fire is if it comes in contact with me. While I am on fire." This all sounded so awkward. Falcon was slowly remembering why he didn't bother to talk about it. But he guessed it was no different than trying to verbally explain turning into a big orange basketball. "I can't control anything preexisting, so if you had a lit candle over there, I wouldn't be able to do anything with it. And if I were to...say, stick my hand in a fireplace, it would hurt and I'd get burnt just like anyone else."

When he finished, he exhaled audibly and did as he was told, making sure to hold his arm away from the chair and realizing a half second later that he probably should have asked about the monitors stuck to him. Mostly about if they were going to melt or something. But it should have seemed obvious that Samus was prepared. "Anyway, those are the major limitations." Which, now that he thought about it, were kind of a lot, but that's what this whole thing was for, right?
