Lip put her finger to her chin, thinking.
"I'm not sure. I was hoping we could just wander around and see where the night takes us?"
She sighed, smiling up at her friend.
"It sure is nice outside today. It's certainly a good night to go explore the city."

"Oh yeah, sounds like fun! I bet I could show you some of the best places if we find some!" Nester proudly grinned and took her by the arm. "So let's go!"

He walked with her down the hall and it was only then that he noticed that he had taken her arm.

Uh. Uh. What did he just DO.

He slowly let go, his face showing that he knew he was in a bit of an embarrassing, weiiird situation. This was gonna be a long night!

"Great! Lead the way, then!"
She flushed slightly, and stifled a giggle when Nester suddenly took her arm, then seemed to realize what he did and pulled it away. This was going to be a long night indeed, but fun.

She walked a little closer to him, making a mental note to ease into taking his arm again, but not quite yet. She didn't want to scare him off.

Looking around the area right off campus, Lip took in a breath of air and smiled again.
"So, you like being older?"

"Uhhh," Nester uttered, not knowing what to say at first. "Uh, yeah, it's kinda rad! Except for some weird stuff," He muttered, not really going into detail. STUPID HORMONES is what he'd say if they weren't kicking in right now. "But hey, I LOVE my awesome bod."

He lead her into the sidewalk and walked down with him, going down the path toward downtown. It was very lovely out here, perfect for a romantic night out. Nester noticed this... and resisted the urge to stick his tongue out.

Ohhh boy this was awkward.

"Uh, what about you?"

Lip smiled at Nester's use of the term "Awesome Bod". He was older, but still fairly hyper. She then tilted her head at the question.

"Hmm. Well, it's really not bad. My mind feels a bit clearer for some reason. As for the body, it's going to take some getting used to, but hopefully this won't be a permanent change or anything. I have... different proportions, now."

"Uhhh, yeah, you could say that, I guess," Nester blinked, realizing... wait was he staring. WHAT he did NOT MEAN TO BE STARING. He quickly looked forward and avoided any glances at Lip apart from her face. Anything below that... no no no that was not supposed to happen.

ANYWAY.

"I bet you'll get used to it! It's kinda funky, but kinda cool with this new thing!" It was just about then that they had gone down the hill from the school and began to make entrance into the city. It was certainly hustling and bustling with people for the night life, definitely. Nearby were plenty of restaurants and shopping centers and... well, an arcade or two.

"Oh man, this is my favorite part of the city!" He grinned.

Lip looked around, taking in the sights. She didn't think she had even been here at a kid.

"Wow. It certainly is crowded." She turned to him. "You know, living in the forest, this really comes as a surprise. I've never been in a city before I came to school here. Are you used to big crowds like this?"

"Am I used to them? Well, duh!" Nester grinned. "For like 12 years, I've lived in Micro-Seattle in Little States! It's a totally huge city with a bunch of people."

He looked over at one of the food joints nearby and scratched the back of his head. He did NOT want to suggest that. It'd just... feel like some kind of romantic food date. Ewww. Then again, he was pretty hungry.

"Uh, wanna stop for some food? I'm starving!"
