Max was set up for an actual spar - he'd never done one of those before. You'd think at a school known for fighting, but it hadn't happened before. Until now.
So he stood on the stage, wearing his trademark tank top and giantass boots, waiting to meet his opponent - he had no idea who Smithy even was. He also had the ripped off barrel of a tank strapped to his back - back when Mr. Game and Watch was around Max had taken classes on how to get ready to spar, and one of the things they seemed to insist on was some sort of special weapon or ability or something. For Max, this meant beating things senseless with a giant metal pipe. Oh boy.
