lark/nester (pilotwings), jake (advance wars), apple kid (mother), knuckles (sonic the hedgehog), !class log, smithy (mario), slippy toad (starfox), jeff angel (hotel dusk), orange kid (mother), tails (sonic the hedgehog)

Jake was busy sketching something out. "I'm way ahead of you, bra," he said, turning his page around and showing Nester. "What do you think about this?"

"I call him Bruce."

Nester... stared. At first, he wasn't sure what to say, but something came out of his mouth anyway.

"What the HECK."

Was it just him, or did the red glowing eyes remind him of Meca Hawk? That was... unnerving. Obviously, though, Nester had not heard of Transformers.

But it was still freaky.

"Uhh, it's... kinda cool, but kinda freaky! Uhhhh. But... as long as it doesn't move, it'll be okay!" Probably. Here's to hoping these robots don't come to life.

"Uhh, yeah, sure I can!"

And thus, Nester took the sketchbook out of Jake's hand, took his pen/pencil/whatever he was sketching with, flipped to a different, blank paper sheet, and drew.

"See? Now that's a cool robot."

"It's a Nester-bot! I know it's naked but so was Meca Hawk, so who cares." Nester stated matter-of-factly. "It looks a lot more handsome than that freaky... Bruce... thing!"

"But there's nothing better than this one!" Nester stuck his tongue out. "If we really HAVE to, we'll use your dumb robot design, but one day, I'm gonna build that Nester-bot in class and it'll be so much cooler."

"Well what if we tried something else? Like this?" he asked, taking the sketchbook and drawing something new.

Just like that. Except with a Nester head.

"... That is SO COOL," Nester couldn't help but comment. "Even if it has no hands. We can TOTALLY do that! I look so great It looks so great."

And then, here is where they may or may not be building at least a little of the 'bot today. Or something I suppose. ((Whether or not this can be offscreen is up to Jeff?))

this robot design makes Apple Kid unhappy on a level that is difficult to describe.
