Basis of Mechanics #2 - You Choose The Lesson!?
Characters: Smithy, his students.
What: Basis of Mechanics Class #2
Where: In one of the larger classrooms
When: Forward-dated to Tuesday, June 16th
Rating: PG to PG-13 depending on the reactions/project grades?
"Harrumph!"
As any of the students entered the room, they would notice that the room has taken an interesting turn in the decor department.
On the wall, under a sign that reads 'A Grades', anyone who made an A last class had their projects hung on the wall, with their name written under them.
Also along the back wall were metallic versions of each student, lying dormant and unmoving.
"Welcome back to Basis of Mechanics."
Smithy walked to the middle of the class. "As you can see, there are metallic forms of each of you lying on the wall. Do not be alarmed!
"You are being given two choices today. You can either..." he pointed to the metal students... "...fight the metallic versions of yourselves, to learn how the small organism in each of these works... or!"
He pointed to Smelter, and continued: "You may create something else! However, this time you must create something that has to do with the 'dream you can accomplish using mechanics' that you signed on that card I gave you in the previous class."
He looked at a couple of the students - Apple Kid, Ribbon, and Orange Kid in particular, and continued. "For those of you who experienced any trouble last class, even if you did better, you must remember! Patience is a virtue. Concentration is key. Let what you want to create appear in your mind. Let your hand and the hammer do the work."
He also made sure to lay the lighter hammer on Ribbon's desk, as she was the only one to have trouble holding it last class.
"Now, you must choose, and then BEGIN!"
