If there was one course Knuckles knew he had to sign up for... it was this one. Especially if he was going to someday meet Goombella's folks, as they had talked about.

What I want to learn: How to impress people with sophistication and grace. How to eat without getting food everywhere or making people look at me weirdly. How to be civilised in general.

What you want to learn in this class: I've already had plenty of lessons in etiquette so I doubt I will learn anything new. However, it is always a good idea to brush up on social manners.

Fuel didn't actually particularly care about "Social Graces" or "Etibutts" or whatever this big turtle thing was teaching, really. It was probably one of those weird city things.
All he knew was that they were planning food. He may not have cared about Etiquette, but as someone who's life dream was to be a baker(maybe a chef, if he let himself be ambitious enough), Fuel couldn't quite pass up this class.
He didn't see too much point to the card, but filled it out anyways.

Yes, there's now a little checkmark next to Hopeless in Bowser's mind.
