Tubba quite conspicuously stomps off, grumbling about stupid classes trying to get him shot on the very first day. Feel free to stop him or just chill out, Ho-oh. He wouldn't be a very pleasant student anyway.
What's this? How enthusiastic of Tubba, but leaving without his equipment will only spell trouble and in true former bully fashion Ho-oh loads one of the guns and fires at the boy's back, splattering him with paint.
...OW. Alright, fuck that. He only has so many of these hoodies, and now this one's ruined. He wipes the forming tears out of his eyes (understandable and not just him being a crybaby, getting hit by paintballs hurts), and anyone paying attention might notice a little red blob bouncing up into a nearby tree. He makes his best angry face at the teacher and snatches up the gear, fuming.
Peach hesitantly lined up with a few other students, flinching slightly before anything even happened. Getting shot by anything- whether it be bullets or paintballs- wasn't exactly high on Peach's fun-things-to-do list.
Oh well... Maybe this would be fun once she was all suited up...
"Take a deep breath and you will be alright." Not completely oblivious to Peach's anxiety, he gave her a clap on the shoulder before handing her a canister of violet paintballs.
Taking the canister, Peach nodded. She rocked back on her heels and took a deep breath. "Thank you, Ho-oh," she said, then walking to the table to suit up.
"Not at all, the fun is trying to find camouflage in the schools surroundings. That said..." and he paused for dramatic effect, "welcome to team blue."
Junior, unlike some of the other students already arranged there, was eagerly anticipating this upcoming round of paintball. The last thing the school (both the students and the general well-being of the building itself) really needed was this deliquent prince on the other end of a paintgun... but hey, this was art class! 'least he won't get busted for splattering the hell out of his fellow students with paint... right?
He couldn't help but fidget a little where he stood, rocking and swaying on his sneakered feet while he waited for Ho-oh to assign him his team.
Ohboyohboyohboy~! This is going to be the coolest art class EVER!
Skull Kid was in line for all of five seconds before he started wandering around the rest of the group, occasionally stopping to stare at a snail on the sidewalk.
Ho-oh overlooked the boy several times before handing him the canister of yellow paintballs and ushering him towards the table with the protective gear.
Yoshi, having never seen a paintball gun before, had no idea what he was getting himself into. But art class was a fun class! Nothing bad could happen! ...right?
"Orange." Ho-oh said simply. After all, there was no safer thing in the world then giving a bunch of kids attending a school for fighting a bunch of guns and hard plastic balls filled with paint.
