It wasn't a moment after Mewtwo took his hand off his headset that a terrifyingly huge purple tentacle rose out of the air with great speed and crashed down onto the land near him, missing him (thanks to quick thinking and Swift), but sending off a shock wave that suggested what it would have felt like to get walloped by it.
He readied a Shadow Ball, but was pretty certain that taking on this thing alone would be a suicide mission.
