SUMABURA CAFE #3: Bug style!

Characters: Louie, cafe staff, and guests to the cafe. ABSOLUTELY ANYONE can join in!
What: SUMABURA CAFE WHOO.
Where: ... Sumabura Cafe XD
When: January 28th, Wednesday
Rating: PG-13 to be cautious.

From the outside, the cafe seemed to be very like itself during its previous hostings, looking just perfect and dandy and ready for tonight. Plastered on ( Read more... )

Waddle Dee made his way to the table and took a seat, sighing a little.
He decided to look through the menu a little. Even if the decor was a little silly, he couldn't help himself to looking at the different tanks and wondering if the pasta really did have...caterpillars in it.

Daisy was a bit nervous-- she hadn't served as a waitress in the cafe before! Oh well, at least it was a new experience, and new experiences were a guaranteed thrill for the princess.

She decided to make her entrance with a splash - or in this case, a buzz - and flew over to the table, neatly landing on her feet.

"Hi, Waddle Dee!" she said, smiling widely. "Glad you could make it!"

She held up what looked like a writing pad with black paper in one hand, and a yellow glitter gel pen in the other (which, by the way, was her absolute favorite pen to write with-- surprise, surprise). She figured black and yellow would be perfect for the whole bee get-up.

"So, what would you like to eat or drink? Have you decided yet?" she asked.

Waddle Dee was a bit startled by Daisy's sudden entrance, but shook it off quickly.

"Um, I haven't decided on if I want to eat yet, but uh..." He paused for a second and thought. "I think I'll have a lemonade, is that alright?"

"Of course it's alright! For tonight, my job is only to serve!"

Daisy quickly wrote down the order. "Waddle... Dee... lem-on-ade... Okay, coming right up!"

She turned around, and hopped into the air before buzzing away to the kitchen.

Waddle Dee just kind of stared off in the direction Daisy had gone, left wondering just how people like her and Kirby could summon up such energy.

He turned his attention back to the menu and tried to find anything that seemed appetizing that didn't have bugs somewhere in it.

Hey hey, look who's late as usual!

"Hello!" Yoshi gasped as he dashed to the table. "Yoshi will be your chef tonight!"

And without waiting for a response or even to see if Daisy or Parakarry were even there, he dashed off to the kitchen.

Guess who else came in late too?

Parakarry rushed to the table, narrowly avoiding a collision with Yoshi.

"Pardon me, Yoshi!" he apologized but was unsure if the dino had heard him.

Waddle Dee was a little confused when Yoshi had stopped by, but just kept looking through the menu when Parakarry arrived. He looked up at the newcomer.

"Ah...Daisy's already helping me," He commented.

"Oh..I see." replied Parakarry, still frazzled from being tardy.

He adjusted his fake antennae. "I'll just head to the kitchen then for a while." He gave a polite bow of the head and smiled. "Enjoy your stay!" With that he floated off.

Oh, customers! Parakarry spread his wings and flew toward the table, landing next too Banjo and Kazooie.

"Welcome to the cafe." He said in a cheerful voice as he fumbled with a small pad of paper "Are you two ready to order yet?"

In spite of Kazooie's display, Banjo was a bit more polite. "Can we get something to drink?" he asked.
