Musical talent! A rock band’s humble beginnings?! [ACTIVE]

Waluigi was a man of his word.

….well alright.

Waluigi was a man of his word, when it came to doing things he liked. There was no question, then, that he enjoyed music a lot.

Shadow hadn’t arrived yet(which made sense, since Waluigi was fifteen minutes early), so he twisted the old lock and opened the door. It had been over two years since he’d stepped into the school’s recording studio. Tentatively, he clapped his hands twice and the entire room lit up. There was dust, and the air was a bit dry, but otherwise, everything looked in its place and untouched. Perfect

It was amazing what he’d been able to do with the budget he’d been given. Something about how they need theme songs and music for the students to keep in par with the other establishments. HE wanted the best, of course, and nothing else would have done. They knew Waluigi was someone who could get things done. After all, his projects were always number one and he wanted to keep that reputation going, right?

So he ran ads looking for instruments, skewered the papers, kept up with the news, looked over some forums for pointers and tips, even went to a few bazaars and funerals. And even if he found low prices, he always managed to get them to go lower.

It was amazing what you could do when you can threaten to beat people up if they don’t give you another percentage off.

In the end, the school found itself with countless instruments of every size and shape, all stashed together in a single room, with recording equipment he had found at an abandoned videogame company (amazing what you could find there).

The walls had been coated with metal and plaster.

There was only one problem.

The project got canceled.

It was cheaper to hire musicians than to continue spending on the remaining equipment needed. Waluigi had been reasonably pissed off, screaming profanities, told to leave campus for a few days while he fumed off all his hard work (and screaming more profanities. And throwing things. Sharp things.). He was still bitter about it to this day, mostly because he was a bad loser. But he had been, after all, in theater. The show must go on no matter what happens.

In the end, even the students didn’t really find the music all that interesting. No one really wanted to play the ukulele and music students were horrible. Music classes only lasted a year, and didn’t really fit with the school’s moto anyway.
So he was more than pleased when one of his new students had contacted him about opening the room again.
Maybe music would ring again in the well-padded halls of the SumaBura recording studio.

He just hopped the kids had talent or else he’d REALLY get mad.
